I think most of us are still in a "lost to Temple and Buffalo" funk, but I'm still surprised that nobody has started this thread yet. The game is on ESPNU I believe. It's so hard for me to figure this game, from both team's perspective. BG is a solid touchdown (plus extra point) favorite most places. In the end, I don't see the Zips bouncing far enough back to pick up the W. Sheehan will probably have a nice game, and our only chance is for CJ11 to have a similar game as he had at Western (which could happen). All in all, I see it:Zips 27Falcons 31

Since I've been wrong virtually every week, I'm going with reverse psychology:BG 35 Zips 10 (all 10 pts in the 1st half, of course)

This has been the toughest year for me to predict an Akron score. This isn't fair to do, but screw it, I'm making two predictions. Most will forgive me.CJ11 the whole game: Akron 13 BG 31CJ7 gets in the second half: Akron 27 BG 24

BG can't stop the run at all. That means that CJ7 gives us a much greater chance to win. If CJ11 stays in the whole game, things will get ugly.Has anybody been e-mailing DLM so that he asks JD about what happened to CJ7? If we were any other town with any other newspaper, we would have had a column with some sort of answer by now.

Oh man, that actually made me laugh. Thanks kid, I needed that one.

Can Akron can get our receivers (including T/E's, & backs) other than Jabari the ball, and will we allow the QB some leeway to tuck and run, unless the clock is about to run out, rather than throw it away? If so, we could win. You know our running game will be good enough. Our Defense and Special teams will also play good enough to win, but will they be inspired by a determined gutsy Offense that plays to win (the swager we're all looking for). It should be time to go all in. Empty all guns, retrieve some respect and win, or go down shooting. Akron 24 (If we have a decent Offensive game plan) BG 21Akron 13 (If we restrict our Offense and if someone other than Jabari or Brian Williams don't step up) BG 31

Zips 31BG 21This is a turnaround game...but is it too late?
It's not too late. One more loss, and then it's too late. As of now, we can still go 7-5 if we win out, which would get us in a bowl. Just 1 loss and we're done for and it's time to look to next year.
