  1. I could understand this if the narrative-pushing media voted on this but the coaches? Certainly, some privilege occurring here.
  2. Key Voting Details: Football: Head coaches vote on All-MAC teams and specialty awards. Basketball (Men's & Women's): Head coaches vote on All-MAC teams and specialty awards. Restrictions: Coaches cannot vote for their own players. I wonder if the fired coaches bothered to vote!
  3. Who votes on this?
  4. I will take UMass for the block.
  5. Apart from the POY ( would any coach choose Suder over Tavari for their team?), good representation for Akron.
  6. Just saw a mid major poll that had Miami #1 ahead of Gonzaga. 22 first place votes to 5. Talk about garbage in and garbage out.
  7. Shammas 6th Man of the year...again.
  8. Maybe next year for MJ
  9. https://akronzippedup.substack.com/p/previewing-the-2026-mac-mens-basketball ZippedUP tournament preview. good read!
  10. Montgomery to WMU?
  11. Montgomery to EMU 😀
  12. Mark Montgomery and Detroit into the Horizon League final. Quick turnaround of that program.
  13. A Bowen Hardman bobble head would be nice.
  14. Tod and Toledo are built for March unlike his prior teams. Tod takes out Travis in semis if UMass doesnt clip them first.
  15. Hard for me to complain about the gym when the team playing there has 31 home win streak.
  16. Hope Mark Montgomery and Detroit win the tournament.
  17. robert morris and detroit remain in horizon league tournament
  18. he was TOS earlier today. try and keep up.
  19. MAC fans now turn their weary eyes to Ypsilanti.
  20. Below is a post from Buffalo Bulls forum. This logic is more twisted than what I regulary see on here😀: "I was surprised that Akron bludgeoned NIU as bad as they did yesterday. I know it was Senior night and all, but they were up 20 at halftime. And then came out stronger in the second half, leading by 41 at one point. Sure...they set a record for consecutive home wins...but this sort of effort on a game that is meaningless in seeding for the tournament was surprising, especially on the defensive end. In Cleveland, everything is bigger. There is a real possibility that Akron doesn't come out with that same fire for a first round game against a team they've beat twice already. At least that's my (our) hope! And, once a team that should win by alot gets behind, nerves start to kick in. Things can get away from them."
  21. more likely the refs dislike the coaching who habitually abuses them and points his finger in their face. I doubt the mac commissioner has instructed the refs to help them win.
  22. TOS to NIU
  23. Zips jump from 56 to 52 in NET rankings. Akron 60 in KP. That other team is 53 and 90 disrespectively.
  24. TOS to Ball State.
  25. the hated.
