I watched the BUGS vs. K-State and the EMU vs. Cincy games yesterday & both MAC teams controlled the action from tip to final buzzer. On the road. Cincy & K-State's fans were getting excited when each respective team would be trying to claw back into the game, but neither game was particularly close - especially BUGS. BUGS & EMU are tough down low & compliment that with 3-point shooting. Add KSUck's Gillespie to the mix & Amani's gotta bring his A-game on a regular basis in the MAC 👀👀

Kent State is tough, and Delrecco Gillespie is playing as well as anyone in the country. I think we're going to have to bring our B+ game to beat them & Amani's going to have to bring his A game.

Props to Yale. They played perfect basketball for an entire 40 minutes. 🤯 They made tough, contested shots, always found the open man out of a double-team, never cooled off from 3, made all 21 of their free throw attempts... ... and we still only lost by 3. Great game.

We spend $$$ and 3 years developing him & he has one good game for us and leaves.

Evansville down by 10 to Charleston at the beginning of the 2nd half. It looks like we were in the weaker of the two sides of the bracket. We'd better be ready to bring our A game tonight.

Only through my blue-n-gold-colored glasses.😅 But no, not really.... certainly not as a freshman. I was surprised when word on the street was he might be starting last season prior to his injury. He played PG as a senior in HS, so has handles & high IQ. But he's grown a few inches & hasn't lost a step! 🤯

I've seen some posts online that the tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ... but that is Atlantic Standard Time. Tipoff for us is 5:30 EST. Don't complicate things for me, please. 😂
