Sports that "Matter." Right. If that were the truth, the only money makers are Mens Basketball and Football. The Zips won 23 games in basketball, a post season game and the MAC championship in football. You hold on to your precious Flush baseball and womens basketball, and we'll be more than happy to hold on to our league champion football team. Besides...maybe you guys will beat a D1 team this year. Well, no, nevermind. That just wont happen.

Spring game was pretty packed. I was impressed. First time in a few years that I've been able to go instead of working. Went to BW3s following the game to have some lunch and watch the Tribe game. Turns out Mr. Jason Taylor decided to grab lunch and some play some Golden Tee Golf there as well. He was more than happy to autograph my bobblehead. I hate to bug folks when they're out on the town being normal people, but he was more than polite about it. Thanks J.T. and GO ZIPS!

Wow...that's a rough post. I agree that Ms. Kennedy was a nice person, as for a good basketball coach, I dont know. Yes, she did inherit a downright AWFUL program. But you have to realize, under coach kennedy the zips went from 2-26 (1-15) to 7-21 (2-14) to 3-25 (3-13) to 5-23 (1-14). Sure, we can say that the team is in good shape to contend sometime in the near future. Sure, we can say she put us in position to have a chance to win, but the bottom line is schools want to win NOW. That's no different with UA. If you saw a coach at a bigger school have HORRIBLE or even mediocre records for 4 straight seasons with no noticeable improvement, would you expect them to keep their job? Job security is fleeting if you cant show some signs of success, the same in coaching as other jobs. I dont know about you, but if I had a poor performance in my most visible aspect of my job for 4 consecutive years, I dont think I'd have much chance to still be employed. I wish coach kennedy all the best, and I can only hope that this program was so bad that it wouldve taken anyone 5+ years to bring it back to respectablity.GO ZIPS!

Not bad...I'm impressed. I used to work at Target in Cuyahoga Falls and would see DP in there from time to time. He did have a woman and a baby with him...maybe it was his sister...
