How does one score 38 points with only 250 yds from scrimmage? this wouldve been curious to watch. 69 points and less than 550 yds between the teams.

one more thing: all time in MAC play, total points:Miami 467, ZIPS 277 (36-21)that makes me nervous.

according to what i found...last time we beat them: 9/30/2000 @ the rubber bowl 37-20.Since then: 0-5 avg score: Miami 42, Akron 25 (BET THE OVER )total pts: Miami 211, Akron 128Record vs MU in MAC play: 3-10 (we won 37-13 in 1993 and 10-7 in 1996)hope that's enough detail...GO ZIPS!

let's hope they can beat buffalo next week. a 1-5 team is a lot easier to beat than an 0-6 one.

be careful, use cups. i hear they have a squad of university cops writing citations for open containers. so unless you want a $100 ticket, bring cups. Myself and some friends will be there, probably not until a little after noon though. This should be a good one.

Actually, you're absolutely right. That's what most zip games feel like. I wasn't at this one but i've been to plenty others. The stadium is coming. We've got to give them time. also an embarrassment to the school, the city and the players. yeah, it was a crappy team from far away and a last-second fill on the schedule but this was the return game after a BEYOND-THRILLING MAC championship season. I'm sorry, but maybe this city doesnt deserve to have a solid 1-A team playing in their back yard.
