  1. The last 10 years: 5-7 6-7 4-8 2-10 7-6 7-6 3-9 5-7 9-4 2-10 1 out of 10 ain't bad, I guess.

  2. My experience with ASN is much better. Very good announcers, good graphics, HD video with full replay capabilities. Usually at least 4 camera angles. No starting/stopping or audio issues when Ive watched either football ( UMASS game) or basketball (Western Mich). ASN is a hybrid network owned by sinclair broadcasting and fed to broadcast channels nationwide ( including Columbus and Cincy but not Cleveland), plus streamed through watch espn. Its very similar to Time Warner Cable Sports.

  4. Would you trade those three wins per season for three NCAA tournament wins over ten years? I think I would.

  5. If there is a choice to make between $1.1 million or a 2-1, we should take the money every time with a team of this caliber. To be extremely optimistic, let's say Illinois would increase attendance for a home game by 10,000. They wouldn't, but let's say they would. The Zips would have to charge $110 a ticket to recoup the money lost from a payday game. If you could get a 2-1 or even a 3-1 with a team that would sell out the stadium, that would be a different story.

  6. I heard from someone that they tried to buy tickets this morning but they were sold out. Not sure if they tried online or the office though.

  7. I hope that this is not true because it would be a terrible way to end his senior season. It seem that every time it looks like Pat is going to have a break through season and injury always seems to impede his career. Last year at the end of his best season he had an injury that limited his time. This year he started strong and again had to play through injuries. I still hope that he gets on the court even if it is only for a few minutes. With Pat out I am a big Jimond Ivey fan. With his athleticism and jumping ability I still think he is a better rebounder and rim protector than our other guards and even some of our forwards. He had a great dunk at the end of the game. KD needs to let his dribble drive from the top of the key after spreading the floor. Right now KD has him on the wing as a substitute for Reggie. I hope to see him more on the floor tonight and would like to see him score double digits.

  9. I think everybody is in agreement, except for one confused individual, ASN is a winner. So like I wrote earlier, for our members that can't make the game, check out ASN's broadcast of the game tonight on ESPN3, they do a nice job. There is an advertisement with an eight hundred word article about tonight's game on ASN's front page. The Zips rank 350th in production from 2-point shots and 319th in points from the free throw line. “I’m happy when we shoot open 3s,” Dambrot said. “I’m not happy when we shoot contested 3s. If I had my way, I’d like to have a little better balance. I’d like for us to drive the ball a little better and get to the line more often. Do I want 50% of our attempts to be from the 3-point line? No. But philosophically, for our team and personnel, that’s the way we have to play.”...“We’re a little more offensive and a little less defensive,” Dambrot said.

  10. Easy there, 2019 is still a few years away. Don't make assumptions yet. I do like this though. 1.1M to play an unfamiliar opponent that is geographically friendly.

  11. I believe that you may be mistaken here. The horrible feeds are the ones produced by the university that are only streamed through Gozips.com. The ASN feeds have been of the highest quality,

  12. http://www.gozips.com/general/2015-16/Releases/2015_Dean-s_List.pdf?preview=true Congratulations to some true student athletes. The list above.....shows the soccer zips that made the deans list for spring 2015 and fall 2015 listed as making the deans list (above 3.50) are Robbie Dambrot, Dener Dos Santos, Jake Fenlason, Ezana Kahsay, Nate Shultz, Andrew Souders, Victor Souto and Shane Wiedt. 3 zips have an asterisk by their name...indicating a 4.0 GPA....Tyler Sanda, Danilo Radjen and Adam Najem. Great job by all of these young men. They will be honored at halftime of the basketball game against Can't State.

  14. The trustees decided to invest heavily in the campus in an effort to attract more students, or at least remove "unattractive campus" as an obstacle. The trustees met regularly throughout LP's tenure and oversaw the building program.
