  2. Kwadarrius Smith is still listed as an "athlete." Can we pick a position for the guy? Darius Copeland is listed at 266 lbs. Wasn't he 300+ in his Freshman season? Fransohn Bickley returns for his senior season. There's a story in there somewhere... Daumantas Venckus - I liked this kid last season. I look forward to him making a bigger impact in 2016. DJ Jones from Ravenna is still hanging around? Seems like he's been here forever. Travonte Junius - 6' 3", 198 Soph. Tough to be a D1 LB at 198 lbs. Wonder if that's a misprint? Newman Williams - 6' 2", 273 lbs. Listed as a TE/LB? He was always a thick kid...but 273 lbs? Holy Moley. Hope he can stay healthy for more than a few plays this season. Hayden Grover still hanging around as a long snapper? His web site still stands as one of the all-time best. Unfortunately, I think it now belongs to the ages... At 6' 5", 302 lbs, Jelani Hamilton will either be an absolute force, or winner of the Ryan Bain award for most imposing Zips DL in street clothes. Let's hope he's healthy, and it's the former.

  3. top drawer soccer has once again updated their recruiting rankings http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/top-2016-boys-recruiting-classes:-july_aid39451 and yes.....they have Jackson Crawford listed twice under commitments 2. Akron Commitments: Emmanuel Sabbi (No. 12), Nicholas Hinds (No. 20), Reggie Laryea (No. 37), Marcel Zajac (No. 116), Jesus Perez (No. 136), Alex Mapp, Jackson Crawford, Jonathan Lewis, Tor Saunders, Jackson Crawford, Jeremy Pollard Transfers: Joseph Korb (Mercyhurst), Ben Lundt (Lenoir-Rhyne) Emmanuel Sabbi is still on board, though the prospect of him playing college soccer remains a toss up. If he comes, Sabbi and the rest of this talented recuriting class make the Zips one of the teams to be considered a favorite for the national title this fall.

  4. I heard the experts on XM84 speaking of the chances of UH getting into the Big XII. They thought somewhere between zero and nada. The heads opined that (although none would ever admit) the Texas schools would block Houston's membership because the city is such a fertile recruiting ground that gets poached frequently. If UH was in the league, they would begin to retain a lot more of the talent available in that city. The second reason the Big XII doesn't need UH is because they already have the market wrapped up with all the BU, UT, TCU & TT alumni that reside there. UH to the ACC makes a lot more sense if they can ever make the jump, since geography means absolutely zero any more.

  6. I think the only other G5 I would be interested in jumping to would be the AAC. From what we've heard from Marshall basically regretting their move, I have no interest in CUSA.

  7. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Dunn has been dismissed for domestic violence against his girlfriend. There have been no charges filed but Urban Meyer has zero tolerance for abuse of women and he probably felt certain that abuse took place. Hence, he's gone. If true I hope we don't even talk to him if he wants to transfer.

  8. LOL. The BS flows. Once you start stating facts you will be taken seriously. All of the accusations and lies spread on an internet fan forum means nothing. Keep spreading them. I know you are just full of rage and jealousy. I don't know why, but you are. We ain't come to play school actually graduated. And yes, most OSU fans made fun of him too. I know you will state you have 3 friends and they all thought it was great. Bla, bla, bla Maybe we should talk about a UA QB that stole from his team mates, or all of the guys that just vanish from our sports teams without a word. Let's compare this years roster with last years and see who is missing...Hmmm. One day you will grow up and realize kids everywhere mostly are the same. Some just have a bigger microscope on them depending on where they play. I bet you have no clue how many kids that have been kicked off the OSU team. Quite a few end up at Akron. I would think a holier than thou person like yourself would be unhappy about that. Actually you shouldn't even be a UA fan because of all of them that come to UA. Have a nice day.

  9. Interesting how UA takes guys that OSU kicked off of the team but name calling children here attack them for supposed coverups. LOL. You really can't make this stuff up. I can guarandamntee you that over the last 10 years OSU has kicked more guys off of the team than Akron has. At Akron, no one notices, guys just vanish from the roster. At OSU, it makes headlines. Sad, but true.

  10. Zips add a Korb and a big German GK to the 2016 class Assuming Korb is related to Chirs and is transferring after 3 years at Mercyhurst. Interested to see which GK starts in goal for us this year.
