  1. That's assuming the team wants it kept under wraps, which is probably the case. However, the reality of it is, we don't know if it is true and who he was referring to. No names were given. It could be an unsubstantiated rumor for all we or anyone else knows. Ball State coaches aren't scouring this message board looking for any rumor they can use to their advantage. Point is, there's a ton of assumptions going on here so nothing really confidential is being given. For all we know, it could be some back up d-lineman who hasn't been mentioned yet with the way Bowden likes to keep his injury report tight to his chest. It gives me an other some hope and I'm glad he shared it. Ball State isn't going to waste their time game planning on internet speculation.

  2. From what I heard, and this is all on very good authority, this was simply a wood burning project that went awry. Some of the Zips players were looking to surprise Coach Bowden with a customized canoe paddle as a Sweetest Day gift, and the damn gun tip overheated. Thankfully no one was injured. The players were embarrassed, and promised to never again undertake any craft projects prior to games. The pic below was taken just before the accident...if they wouldn't have added that last pine tree, everything would have been cool. Much ado about nothing. Move along everyone.

  4. I'm getting tired of hearing "Why would we want to play WMU again"? I'm hoping that our team and coaches are DYING to earn the opportunity to play them again.

  7. These polls are becoming increasingly more challenging when we aren't sure who is lining up at QB on a week to week basis.

  11. Cheering and coming to a game and supporting a kid from out of state, in state, or where ever is probably not a violation, Introducing yourself outside the gate after games, and say great game ,or hello and making some feel welcome and feel not so far away from home.... probably not a violation. Having friends in the area from the military after 22 years of service and meeting people in NEO probably not a violation. Maybe Adoption was a bad word.... Sorry not wording it correctly..... cut me some slack i am from the south, how about passionate fans who genially care.

  12. #6 Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan While the volume hasn’t been there for Davis this season (61 targets through seven games), Davis remains perhaps the best wide receiver in the class due to his excellent route-running, body control and after-the-catch ability. He projects as a short and intermediate threat at the next level with just enough downfield ability to complete the package. ------------------------------------- If we are lucky enough to play them again, I would shadow Davis with DeAndre Scott, I thought he did the best job with him because of his physical play. He should have been credited with the int against him. Tough call.

  13. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/the91stminute/2016/10/everybody-lost-in-the-needless-nagbe-klinsmann-showdown/ I have always been a huge fan of Darlington Nagbe's skill set. Conversely, I am not a Klinsmann fan. After reading this article, I am even less of a Klinsmann fan. Darlington can do things on a soccer field that others on the USMNT can not do.
