I thought Trey Moses played well yesterday (11 points / 14 rebounds). I had to go back and look if he had any success against us in early February, not much in the box, 4 points, 3 rebounds. I run across this article accidentally. Now I have a hard time rooting against him. Darn it.

I should have put a disclaimer on it that the bar was set really low.

Not enough movement off the ball

I'll take being up 9 at the half. Need to keep up the intensity at the start 2nd half and step on their throat. Can't allow them to hang around.

Really looking forward to the game today. I have been so impressed with Noah's play the last few games. He has been taking the ball to the hoop, not forcing up the three point shots, and running the offense. Josh was also impressive yesterday. If we get good guard play we are a difficult team to beat. One of the keys to the game is getting off to a good start. We started slow yesterday missing easy shots. We need to start well and not fall behind again. Run the offense through Big Dog and not take quick threes in transition. Josh hit a great three after a steal but it seems like when we rush a three and miss we lose our balance with our offense. Would love to see KD use his bench. Do not want to see Big Dog play another 37 minutes. Give Poke a chance. He played only 3 minutes yesterday and had 2 blocks. Need Antino to have a better shooting game and drive to the basket. I think he had a poor offensive game because of the zone. Expect him in double figures today. Go Zips!!

Didn't he also have 9 stitches to close up his head wound? Not that he can't play with a wound, but if the wound opens up Trevor-Bauer-style, he'll have to exit the game. And as you said, this is IF he passes concussion protocol within a day. I wish him success in the CBI or CIT.

What an asshole. Making it hard on me to root for him to fail.

From an atmosphere standpoint, the close proximity of Akron and Kent paired up with Ohio's conference-leading fan base is best-case scenario for the MAC. People who skip on the MAC Tournament are seriously missing out, especially with how awesome Downtown Cleveland has gotten. The atmosphere has been great for awhile now, and it just keeps getting better...

Clearly the theater program at Ypsi isn't all that great.

I had to go back and look at that again at home. It was 7 unanswered points in about 30 seconds total. That was a nice little spurt. Went from a 4 point game to an 11 point game. A game-changer for sure. But it was Josh on the steal and the wide open 3 at the end of the sequence, not Noah.

I almost root for OU to make the final each year for the sake of a good atmosphere at the Q. Then I realize that they are dOUches. Go Rockets

Just to try and keep the stuff on topic I made that thread ^^

Jimond got the T for mouthing off to the guy that took Noah out. Noah stopped to intentionally draw contact and got a bit more than he bargained for.

Everyone wins and nobody does :-). The only three people who guessed the combo of Noah (2) and Josh (3) to lead in combined three pointers (Kwan/Ivey 2/0 and Antino/Utomi 1/0) also guessed that Kwan was going to lead in the points/rebounds combo. Big Dog won that one by a long shot (double double of 24 and 10 to Kwan's 8 and 4) so I'm going to give the win to the memory of GoZips.

Antino was boxing out Thompson with a few seconds left, they got a little tangled and Thompson appeared to shove/throw an elbow at Jackson's head. There appeared to be some verbal and maybe some physical retaliation and Thompson and Jackson both got hit with T's. It also happened to be the fifth foul for each so it may have appeared as ejections but were not. I think you could have made a case on the elbow from Thompson for a flagrant II and an ejection but glad the refs just let it finish out and get done with it. On to the semis for the 11th straight year!
