  2. Against the Browns, our old friend looked like a kid that could have used another year of college football.

  4. I love that kid. I wish he would have came to Akron from the get-go.

  6. CK wins the day. That article is what professional journalists are supposed to write. Kudos to you for putting in the work after you already put in a full day of work at your day job. Love for the Zips is a powerful thing. This thread has 83 views. All the incessant bitching about the BJ's lack of coverage when but a everyday Joe does the work of a professional. . . y'all tell me how in the Hell does the original post not have 83 likes??? One more thing. . .

  7. Captain, thank you for the interview. You do excellent work. I'm more and more in favor of ZNO developing its own content since we don't have enough coming from the ABJ or local media. I can't get enough info on the Zips and I know there are many on this board who feel the same way. Can we explore this?

  8. Wonder what will happen to the old video board? Can't think of anywhere else on campus they could use that. Guess they will probably sell or donate it?

  9. It will be fun to watch Duquesne's "strength" of schedule evolve over the next few seasons, as they turn into an unstoppable A-10 force that wins NCAA tourney games. I'm betting heavy-hitters Bethune Cookman and perhaps Coppin State are on the horizon.

  10. I liked your post, even though you all know how much I begged for Keith to challenge so many of his Akron teams during the OOC portion of the schedule. There's certainly a time to go weak in the OOC. Limited personnel and a tough conference schedule this year makes sense. If his teams over there ever get really good and/or the conference gets softer, I will call him out again for not challenging his team. And if we get back to top form, and start rolling in a weak MAC, I'll certainly jump on our own lack of a strong OOC to challenge our own guys too.

  11. Who cares about KD or where he is at now. Past history, let's worry about ZIPS

  12. To be fair they are coming off a 10-22 season and, due to so many transfers, will be rolling with 9 scholarship players in year one. Couple those factors along with what will be a tough conference schedule and it makes a ton of sense to schedule a weak non-conference slate this year.
