When we got the new unis a couple of years ago, I heard ESPN's Trevor Matich comment that they were the best in the country in his opinion. I thought that was pretty cool.

That's good news. I miss Dunn and the info he provided. Not always wild about Linder, but Dunn was enough to keep me interested.

Enough said after last night's debacle at Kent State Still Sucks...

Per former Zips Marketing Director Mike Waddell the change from "pee yellow" (Mike's words) to the existing blue and gold was made: 1.) Because Akron is supposed to be - "Blue and Gold" 2,) The pee yellow and navy colors were the same as Kent State. And you don't want the same colors as Kent State.

Ignore all the polls for the entire year. They mean less than nothing as all they do is mislead people into thinking they have some significance when they don't. Instead, I suggest bookmarking your team's RPI worksheet which, if you understand it properly, will reveal your at-large and seeding prospects as November approaches. They practiced like no other Groce-led Zips team ever has. Guys were jumping so high, they almost hit the new gigundus scoreboard. A little Blood, Lots of Sweat. No Tears.

Just gotta say we've got the nicest uniforms in all of football, regardless of level. ?
