I think there would be more excitement if we did not drop our last 3 games and 3 of our starting 5 are in a shooting funk and have been in a defensive funk the entire season. This team can be really good when Trimble, Ali, and LCJ are making their 3 ball. But we struggle when the 3 pointers are not going into the basket. If we win on Thursday and get out of our offensive woes I think this board will pick up.

For all of you that were convinced that this would all disappear after Nov 4th - just one question - did it? And "youngster" Zip-Grad'13 was pretty spot on here.

If someone isn't interested in the remainder of the MAC season because the Zips are out then hit the back button. This is going to be a great tournament! For those who don't follow, CMU, Buffalo and Ohio each feature an all-America caliber player on really exciting teams. And Bowling Green managed to get the top seed yet!! Any of those teams are capable of making the Sweet 16 or beyond. In other MAC action this weekend, West Virginia defeated Northern Illinois (despite Northern Illinois leading 11-2 in shots) Akron plays next Sunday at Northern Illinois SIU-Edwardsville was picked to finish last in the MAC Western Michigan got 2 first place votes to win the MAC Today, SIU-E defeated Western Michigan 2-1
