The kid went from Oakland to Sheridan. Wyoming to Akron. He's probably looking forward to getting closer to home. I wish him well. Seems like a great kid. This photo demonstrates his shooting range and why he shot 65%-

He’s played basketball his whole like and has been at Akron for 2 years, I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see him becoming a good shooter.

You were 100% correct. I was curious about this issue and found the answer. The Zips could keep the seniors on scholarship but the school would have to fund the extra scholarships. Based on what we are seeing and Akron's financial situation, I do not believe Akron is willing to fund the added scholarships. Also, I could see this being a problem if you are an incoming frosh and find out that a senior is staying and playing an extra year it may change how you feel about playing for that school. I think we were all anticipating him leaving via graduation - staff probably didn't have room for him and he doesn't want to hang em up yet. Good for Cam
