  2. He looks to be a viable candidate. I like his experience and his constant excellence in all he did.

  3. Darold would be a fantastic commit. A commit from Roosevelt would show that JoeMo is dominating the MAC recruiting.

  4. The west coast Big Ten alumni can watch all conference games on a variety of nationally televised sports channels including ABC/ESPN, Fox/Fox Sports and the Big Ten Network. I get where USC is coming from but confused about UCLA. I think PAC 10 football, as a whole, has become very average and continues to fall behind the leaders. Because of this, I think USC probably is impacted in their recruiting in a negative way. There is no reason for them to not be as good as the top 5 schools. This move will help their football program. It will be interesting to see how USC and UCLA handle late season road games in places like Wisconsin and Minnesota. UCLA has a problem because it hasn't been relevant in football for a long time and I think this move will only make things worse. UCLA does have a good chance of taking a good basketball program and becoming even better.

  7. My wag is Akron gets 3 of the 6 with Cinn, Marshall and Army/Miami getting the other 3.

  8. I don't think individual school revenue is the driving force, but rather the media market as a whole. The Big Ten probably has a lot of alumni/fans who have migrated to the LA/West Coast area. Their media deals can now include those markets, therefore more $$$, hence why the Big Ten added Maryland and Rutgers.

  9. The fact that our coach has announced her arrival at a new job before anyone knew she had left her previous one...DOH! 🤦‍♀️ and that we are talking about hiring high school coaches says much about the free fall of the Akron women's soccer program. There is just over a month to go before the players return to prepare for the 2022 season, so it will be near impossible to make a long-term hire, and we may end up with another "interim" label on whoever steps in. No matter what you think about the overall value of UA WSoc vis-a-vis the rest of the MAC, you have to realize this situation is an embarrassment and shows the leadership is asleep at the switch!
