Struggled to beat Rice the week before, too. They'll be a good MAC team but don't really belong in any type of national conversation.

I agree with 72 Roo that we have not found the best 11 or at least the best 11 in the best places. Do not consider myself an expert but it appears we are at mid season and still trying to figure out the best lineup. This has happened several other years lately. It appears from this layman's eyes that Akron is too predictable in its attack and missing chemistry or something that they have shown in other years. It is difficult to play Akron's style rather than the power approach of Maryland and that Indiana has played. But- we have been told that the team is loaded with talent/options, we have more depth than ever. We seem to be missing the effective and appealing offensive strikes from our outside back players that has been a hallmark of past Akron teams. Go Zips!
