This will be a short thread but am curious what the experts think. Please comment on any other predictions or premonitions you have for tomorrow night. Also, what was your craziest/favorite (NON-CHAMPIONSHIP GAME) memory from MAC tourney through the years?

To be fair, the athletic dept has a point system and $ and years of buying tickets earns points. But I too got pissed when people who weren't at a game all year show up in CLE and snag the best seats. Like you, I finally gave up on the randomness and bought my own through TZ. Whether I'm with the other Zip fans doesn't matter too much. (They spend most of the game yelling at the refs. Seems to be a Zips fan calling card)

Boals is under a lot of pressure to get that team to Cleveland. Groce did it his first year with a miracle on the road at Western. If Boals his same caliber of coach, he will get them there.

I would love a directional Michigan sweep on Monday and so would all the seeded teams. As Groce said in his interview, it's about mental toughness. Zips demonstrated a ton of that going back to the EMU game. Hopefully, the meltdown at BG was a one-off. Mental toughness and making 3s when it matters.

I think Zips fan block is in 107/108. On the Rocket Mortgage map for the MAC tournament the "Home" bench is in front of that section. Zips, god willing, would always be the home team. I went through Travel Zoo for my tickets. @clarkwgriswold can be found camping out in front of the Verizon in Macedonia waiting to get his. I prefer to pick out my own seats as opposed to the athletic dept doing it for me. i saw ticket range from $13 up to $42. $42 gets you in 108 or 106 and near the floor.

On that note, I watched part of the Vermont/Maine game last night. Try to imagine Vermont basketball fans? It isn't pretty. Vermont plays in gym right out of Hoosiers. As for East Tennessee State, they may end up facing our friend Lamont Paris and the UTC Mocs who had an upset win in the quarters of the Southern Conference tournament.

I don't recall KD ever talking about team "chemistry" and the guys liking each other and playing for each other especially with guards like Abreu, Noah, and Antino. Cohesive unit is the priority. OT: if you look at Jeremy Roscoe's twitter feed you may see one of reasons he left so abruptly.

Arth gave a presentation in Tommy Evans last night. From what I saw hes focusing on quality young men. Also, GPA is up .8 points. His assts have a recruiting chart that looks to to weed out partiers, tardiness, medical issues, academic problems, etc. Although, I'm sure they are compromising on a few.

I'm sure Kitten Nation is already reserving their hotel rooms. Remember NIU has had Buffalo's # last two years. And reality check, Northern Iowa 24-6 lost by 20 in the quarterfinals (Missouri Valley I think)of their tourney and will be heading to the NIT.

Looking at Ball State board, they are like WTF with their draw. NIU had their ticket already and didn't show up tonight. Graves went off on BG. NIU and Miami both beat the Bulls this season. Can the Hurons and the Zone stop PCCC?

Looks like Toledo, Kent, Eastern, and BG are in the lower bracket. NIU tanks their game and sends Buffalo to a Monday night game and secures 3 and 4 seeds for two West teams.

BSU crushing the Snow Mutts. Looks like Buffalo's win was for naught. Watched some of the CBS roundtable after the game and the guy had a funny comment about BG game. He's like "BG needed to win and Akron lose and they got neither. Akron earned the #1 seed while still on the court."

Good game by Kent (No Ravenna or Brimfield tonight). They were tough. Groce said it was a "high level" game and it was. Wow, to think what KDs teams would have been like with that type of FT shooting. @clarkwgriswold regarding the crowd, I think there is still some learned helplessness and nervousness and just a fear of impending doom that keeps the butts in the seats.
