Absolute arrogance from DeWine. He pressured the conference. Feel so bad for the players. Especially the seniors. Will be hard to get them motivated for what will seem like a scrimmage.

Rational thinking left the building a long time ago. I guess we are going to learn this week what college sports are all about. Do they exist without fans? Do players want to win without fans there? Tree falling in the woods type of thing.

It says "asking" so it's confusing. This is absolute hysteria. I looked at the governors website. He mentions that he hopes organizations will comply. Looks like a CYA for him. This has to be stressful on the players and their families especially those making a long trip to be in Cleveland.

Uhhh....Groce's OU was one of those 9 seeds. Took out PCCC in the Quarters in 2010.

I'm taking nothing for granted. maybe it's easier for Groce to prepare for the Kittens than it would be for Toledo. I see Akron and PCCC on a collision course that could end with an epic battle for the soul of the nation. I

Thoughts on last night: 1. Success in the MAC is fleeting. Enjoy it when you get it. 2. Credit to the Kittens, but reeling Central was probably the easiest draw. 3. The AD's of the directional Michigan schools should do one mass firing/suicide pact and rid themselves of Murphy, Hawkins, and Davis. 4. When was last time no team from Michigan or NY was at the Q? As for Thursday: 1. Kitten fans thinkthey got this one. Apparently, they are the team the Zips fear the most. 2. Groce v Boals. 3. Zips by 18. 4. Toledo, Ball State, BG, and PCCC in the evening session. What a blood bath that could be.

Central made a run and put Kittens on their heals for a few minutes. One of my rules, never count on a directional Michigan school or the Akron women's team to get the job done.

Linked on other thread is press release that Tourney going on as planned. Ok...everyone...no hugs, no high 5s, no handshaking...keep it real and be responsible. If you see someone not washing their hands or appears to be sick...don't get too close...but call them out on it.

Looking at some message boards, rumor is Miami coach will be fired tomorrow (unlikely with 2 years left on his contract), CMU re-upped Keno, and Hawkins should be gone. Akron clobbered Miami last year in the first round. I can't imagine an even worse Miami team improving on that performance. Hawkins has some talent that may get it going at Toledo. Ultimately, EMU is only team that brings something to the table that could stymie an opponent. Buffalo by 20+. EMU...by 7.

Also, the First Round of the NCAA is in Cleveland. If MAC is cancelled then that would be as well. I read Gov. DeWine has said Ohio is still open for business. My gut reaction is the MAC tourney is safe.

NE Ohio curse. Doomed.

I pray not. That would be a tough sell. Because that would logically lead to the entire March Madness would have to block fans. Frankly the MAC tourney isn't that "big" of an event
