I think that's only the 3rd road win under Groce, so this was huge. That's what I wanted to see...a good road win. Will give them some confidence when they hit the road in the MAC.

My friend's son plays football at Miami (Ohio), and he says the Coach is bipolar. Yelling and screaming and can change on a whim. And they won the MAC East. Dambrot was known to be quite a yeller as well.

I think there were a # of those types lingering around on the men's BB program. Some guys Groce HAD to keep and others were expendable. Groce only had to manage 9 players as opposed to 85!! When a basketball player goes missing, it's front and center but when a 2nd string OL loses his scholarship or becomes academically ineligible or fails a drug test, 99% of us don't even notice. Arth had to lay down the law, and I'm sure "make example" of some. That's mostly speculation on my part, but I'm sure there were some harsh choices with harsh results.

I heard some of this as well. The first meeting with Arth the room stank of marijuana and many were shabbily dressed. He wouldn't have it. I know we can't compare sports but it reminded me of something Jodi Kest said after she took over the women's basketball program. She said something like...I'm not going to let some 19 year olds push me around and run this program. I said this was a "rip off the band aid" situation but it might have been more like an emergency open heart surgery. And I agree that the university's problem was that they kept bad coaches for too long.

In my confuse head, I see this as must-win. Zips need these type of road wins that were illusive last two years. The last road win I remember was first round against WMU in 2018.

They were type of team that could cause a big scare in 1st round of NCAA. Hard game to watch but Zips never trailed and kept it over 10 vast majority of game. Xeriyius is a E-Sports Commentator?

Their coach is like a Charlie Cole disciple. Calls time outs before the media timeout.. Slows game down. Disrupts the flow. This is a mess. Score board broken.

How bad Riak is stands out with Reece and Williams on the team. Groce benched him after 3 negative possessions

Wonder if Groce scheduled Merrimack specifically because they play the 2-3 zone
