Groce is drawing the line on that concept. I don't know what's going on with team dynamics. I know Dambrot left a gutted team that will take a few years to rebuild. Agree. I don't recall Groce saying some were uncoachable but I remember the rest. Wonder who will go the way of the BJ Gladden (not saying anything negative about Gladden) once Groce has complete control of who stays and goes.

However, someone pointed out the low # of assists in the last game and if we see that continue and players just driving to the hoop at will with no results I will begin to wonder. I appreciate that Groce comes out for interview even when they lose. And I appreciate when he said he's not afraid to lose if it means benching players who refuse to hustle. Having not played on a basketball team, I don't know what is the magic that makes a winning team click. The team wasn't doing that well in the MAC when they were at full strength. The road slog and schedule just seemed worse than previous years. Away, away, Buffalo. The opening 3 games were particularly brutal for a young team. Then away, away, Toledo. The chance to pick up the road win was at Ball State or Miami but we were down two big guys.
