Yes, the coaching staff isn't looking for players who will have an "immediate impact." They obviously prefer recruits who will languish for a couple of years.

why not all 3? as i heard, Coach decided a while back not to do this, and now we can see why.

Incredibly important in selling this program to recruits to have the core men locked in.

some programs will be decimated. No one from EMU so far. I don't know how the players and coaches can navigate the portal. Too many players. Too many schools. Too many options.

Or maybe the coaching staff have more important things to do than travel to Florida to play in the Discount Tire tournament. But hey, if the god like former coach does it, it must be the right thing to do. I appreciated when Bobby Hurley said or maybe it was Oats, after losing in the MAC tournament, that his team's goal was to play in the NCAA and if not that the NIT. Therefore, he wasn't accepting any invite to a lesser tournament.

Albany..big whoop. 8 hour drive. No flights. I think Kent and Western Michigan both played UCLA in the tournament. Having the extra day is important and will be for the Hoosiers as well.

Reading their message board today, the fans seem to be of with that.

And the Coach loves him...and, I'm guessing here, that's probably what matters most.

Well I'm sure she will soon figure out what school God has planned for her to attend
