  1. Finish things off at home next week and weekend....then March on to Kalamazoo. Then hopefully at least one home NCAA match....American football tomorrow against Buffalo....11:30 kickoff...good night lads and lasses....
  2. errrr....you're right.....sorry about that.....forgot your profile listing....okay Z.I.P and zipsrule.....you didn't read that...ignore the above.....
  3. WOWWWW! Not Joao...but WOWWWWW! Cordeiro!!!!! Great, feed just locked up, now back...
  4. Announcers are very impressed....say that Zips best team to play at WVU this year...
  5. PK......Stu-eeeeeeee! Goal #5 against the 'eers....1 for 1 on PKs, now Zips 2-0
  6. Yeah, I wasn't saying it was hard to believe based on their play, but on the fact that when they entered the MAC they seemed to be the only real worthy Zip opponent, before WMU got stronger, but definitely the #2 MAC squad. Now?? You're right...non-impressive.
  7. Yeah, they did. They seem to be a little in awe of the Zips, and I thought it was a pretty pedestrian first half. But we appeared to me to dominate possession %. Can't let down in the second half, really need to pick it up a little. Hard to believe WVU may not make the four team MAC tourney?
  8. Had the same issue, then reloaded and so far so good....and GOOD! As I was typing I got to see the first of hopefully many more....GOAL Stuart! 4th career against WVU and Zips in the lead....
  9. I don't recall many posters WISHING for what happened with Coach D leaving.....we all know this is not likely to be a 20 win season, so get off your high horse and watch some b-ball.
  10. Looking over GameDay notes from Buffalo - 3 players on offensive depth chart from Ypsilanti and all 3 went to IMG Academy.....last time Kyle Vantrease played in Infocision Stadium he led Stow to a State Division I Regional playoff game win over Solon 24-15, and went 7 for 14 and threw an interception, no TDs....
  11. The season is now officially over for WSOC, but it ended brightly, as the team battled a very good Buffalo team to a 2-2 double overtime draw. Rachel Bachman scored about half way through the match and Buffalo equalized just before half. Bachman hit again just past 50 minutes gone but Buffalo equalized 30 seconds later. Rylie Howman and Kiki got assists and Jiu was very active in goal and had several great saves. In fact she's the first Zipper GK to record 100 or more saves in a season, and she's just a freshman. So, a win over Miami, followed by double OT draws with the top team from the West Ball State and the third best team in the East Buffalo to finish the season with a 3 match unbeaten streak. Not too shabby. Not great, but they didn't roll over and play dead after the long losing streak. And only 1 senior leaving. These women are not afraid to take the ball to the net and are beginning to learn how to give it as good as they take it physically. 2018 is a long way off, but I think this will be a MAC Tournament team in 2018. Z.I.P and I were both wrong on our predictions for the record....
  12. I would love to have Michael Beaven as our U of A beat reporter for all sports. George Thomas can’t even bother to learn how soccer is even played, and Brad is freelance and notbad when the ABJ/Ohio.com will pay him...But Mike is solid in so many sports. Maybe we could take up a collection from ZipsNation soccer forum readers and pay him! Think he’d do it for $4.95 per game???
  13. Love Nick dearly....but he had better improve his work ethic if he's gonna jump to MLS next season. Training might not be as fun as scoring goals, but no MLS manager will overlook training ground effort....
  14. Reggie and nick back in...so no bad....GOAL!!!!
  15. Talked to Coach Dambrot at the break...Robbie pulled a hammy in the Wake match....
