Going by conference stats, nothing statistically backs up JU being the better option. Overall yards probably isn’t a fair metric, but JU has an alarmingly high interception rate compared to his passing attempts. The run game looked better with JU, which is ironic, and the defense certainly played better (although I doubt that had anything to do with JU). There are also some throws that JU physically cannot make that DJI can. Who’s a better leader is debatable.
