  1. He probably meant it as pointing down to the picture, but should have used a different emoji for that.
  2. Secondary coaches are playing no games. I can hardly keep up. I say that and this guy is a RB…
  3. Bumping this position as it’s up to date…for now. I’ll continue to update as new developments arise.
  4. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/35216756/atlantic-sun-wac-teams-pairing-move-fbs-sources-say Some FCS teams want to join the party.
  5. Depends on the school and what is going on during the visit, but it’s a way for the school to roll out the red carpet and put their best foot forward. Prospects will be shown how they will be used in the scheme, shown what life would be like on campus, go to a game (like MBB or another sport that may have a nice turnout), hang with current players, meet with the academic team, etc. Official visits are paid for by the school. Each school pushes whatever is their best selling points. SEC schools do their best to get prospects on campus during the season so they can attend home games and experience the environment. Pregame prep, walk to the stadium, sideline access, etc.
  6. Still working on updating all positions and will bump them once the majority of movement is finished.
  7. Spriggs is coming in this weekend as well. He has received offers from Norfolk State and Morgan State since the Zips offered.
  8. I was actually watching his film after we offered Nosike and wondering why we hadn’t offered. Walker is a slim 300lbs and could easily put on another 10-15lbs and move inside to guard. Very athletic for a guy his size.
  9. I imagine a scholarship safety (or two) will hit the portal. There are a couple of guys who saw time in 2021 that didn’t see the field at all or very little in 2022.
  10. He was a walk-on. Unless I missed him being put on scholarship at some point? I thought speed might be an issue at this level and maybe he would eventually grow into a LB.
  11. Western Michigan hired former Louisville OC Lance Taylor as their new HC.
  12. Wyoming DB Keonte Glinton was offered today. Wyoming has been good to us, so we’ll see where this goes.
  13. And just like that DJ goes back on the list. He is decommitting from Kansas in the same week.
  14. I’d be really surprised if that happened. There were plenty of points in those games where the team could have performed better and it not have had to come down to the fumbles. Those games weren’t all on him. Price does some things really well and is a nice change of pace to Wiley.
  15. I like this offer. Wiley seems to have plenty of leg strength and accuracy (at least when not pressured). Something our PK’s lacked this past year past 39 yards. Smigel and Perez combined for 5 of 6 when kicking field goals 39 yards and in. 3 for 10 beyond 39 yards.
  16. I thought the same thing. Must’ve really wanted to get closer to home?
  17. He’s a guy I think we’d have a good chance of landing. Originally from PA and could slide right into Shocky’s spot.
  18. Diondre Glover committed to Gardner-Webb.
  19. Don’t take a congenial conversation and make things personal @bigjim. Especially when you know nothing about my coaching record or my achievements. I stepped away from coaching, and definitely not canned as you incorrectly assumed, to spend more time with my family and the opportunity to work from home. Now my wife is pushing me to go back into it with my kids (somewhat) functional. I have more experience in the areas you mentioned than most. Outside of personal observation, which we clearly disagree on, there is no way to compare the two players without stats.
  20. Temporary for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it stay this way. New head coaches taking over programs in their first year usually wouldn’t be able to fill their 85 scholarships due to the amount of attrition. This rule allows them to get up to 85 scholarships in year 1.
  21. Stallworth. I’m going back through and slowly updating the position threads, but not going to bump any of them until the dust settles.
  22. JoeMo said that on one of his call in shows, but I think he was mistaken. That was for 2022. Any number of scholarships can be given out for 2023-2024, but each FBS team must get down to the 85 limit.
  23. Pretty sure we got up to the full 85 by end of year. A few guys like Durant and Hester were put on scholarship during the year. Can’t remember who else though.
