    I believe the 85 scholarship limit kicks in at the start of the academic school year, but that may have changed. We’ll definitely have a chance to land some talented players. At the current rate, the portal will have between 3,000 to 4,000 players to choose from before the start of the 2023 season.

    I agree. And we still need to land another (or two) JUCO/portal CB. That’s not a knock on our newly signed freshmen as I’m high on them, but some veteran experience would help.

    It wouldn’t be easy, but if he’s an early enrollee it could be done. That’d give him about 8 months to slam down as much protein as he could get his hands on.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if these kickers are on scholarship after the year we just had. I haven’t seen anything on social media to think Bowen and Long won’t sign.

    One of his hudl clips. He moves and runs well. Has a solid burst and can hit for someone that is 210. Get him up to 235/240 lbs range and he’ll be in business.

    Yep, App State is putting together an impressive class. It’ll probably be the best in the Sun Belt by the time it’s said and done. They also signed DE Kason Boston.

    Seems that way right now, but we’ll land some difference makers. So far, nearly 2,000 players have entered the portal and this is just the first window.

    I’d expect all of our current commits to sign tomorrow. The portal still has a few weeks left for this session, so we may not see much activity on signing day from those prospects.

    All good. He’s been added to the 2023 Outstanding offer list. Funny he’s been offered as I was going through and updating a bunch of JUCO profiles in the Rivals database last night and he was one of them. If I’m not mistaken, he is going to wait until after this signing period to commit.

    Dall has been given a 2 ⭐️. Sill waiting on Wiley. That bumps this class to #85 nationally and 4th in the MAC.
