I'm not surprised we haven't had a commitment yet. In most years, our transfers have been expected to be role players. One or more transfers coming in this summer will likely start and play a major role. Need to make sure it's a great fit.

In no way am I comparing Enrique to Caitlin, but I'd love to see UA hang his number at the JAR in the next few years instead of waiting as long as they did with Romeo.

He has played really well - hit two threes, had a really nice block, and of course a bunch of boards. Hope the additional exposure will help him get a shot with an NBA team!

May have just needed a change of scenery too. Has to be a little weird to see Freeman, Tribble, and Ali all graduate and still be here. I honestly don't think it hurts us that much but I do wish him the best, he seems like a wonderful young man.

Thank you for the summary. It's good to see them actively trying to build an advantage for UA. I don't know that I agree with Bud that major changes are coming, though, because of the advantage it builds for P5 teams. But I still think the mid-major schools that can build a successful NIL program will benefit. Did he mention anything about promoting players? To me, that's the biggest weakness with Athletics in relation to the players. Not promoting Freeman more, selling Freeman gear, having a Freeman shirt giveaway night, etc was a gigantic miss by the department IMO in not capitalizing on an all-time Zip. I'd like to see that change with future players who turn out to be stars here.
