We win by 27 and I’ve never felt so whelmed. EMU is just so bad I can’t judge how the team did. We had great rebounding and shots started to fall again in the 2nd half but how much of that was just EMU playing poor defense?

Student section update: 100% full lets us in 15 minutes early so we didn’t freeze. Gonna be packed house

The big one. I feel like this is the biggest the rivalry has been these last two years. Need to keep turnovers down and force the flashes to get frustrated. Prevent the big deep shots. Play as physical as the refs allow. Let X and Freeman cook but don’t force them to carry.

Seems like every teams plan is to isolate one of the duo and hope the other one has a down night. Need X or freeman to be on point Friday and best case scenario both for a big win. Bench needs to be ready to make some points too. Whether it’s Tribble, hankerson, hunter, Johnson and Johnson we need some people to clutch up. Wish we had Dawson

This will be a tough one for the zips. Especially with a looming national game on Friday. I believe in Groce to keep them focused but Buffalo on the road is already a tough trip. This will be a tight one. Watch out for the Kent Central Michigan game too

Was in the student section. Bate’s brother came to the section to started a scene because of the “Jail” chants coming from the from of the crowd. His brother flipped a pizza and was escorted back to his seat. Got very heated for a bit there until the employees told the students to stop that chant. Electric night but almost got scary
