Tavari needs to get the ball out quicker. The pace is slow right now and he’s getting swallowed up and requiring high effort shots that are going down now but won’t the whole time

Kent’s putting the bigs on the guards and we can’t crash the paint to capitalize

The script is in!

2 Bid MAC bring more money and exposure. Doubling the postseason money gained is never a bad thing.

31-1!!!!!

Did not capitalize

Keys to the Weekend: Play disciplined: Stay under 10 turnovers a game Shooters Shoot: We have the best guard tandem in the MAC. If 3/4 are hitting (Tavari, Bowen, Shammah, Sharron) then we will blow teams out. Doesn’t have to be the same 3 every game but that’s a nice number to have a 90 point day Get to the bench early: if you can get 10 deep on day 1 and 2 you’re feeling great. Avoid overtime at any means necessary Physicality: let Amani and the Mahaffeys wear down our opponents and feast on turnovers.

Barring Buffalo somehow falling to Q4 and beating us we finished 16-0 and undefeated for the second straight year in Q4 games. Might sound like a “no crap we should stat” but hey I’ve seen good Akron teams and other good mid major teams drop Q4s so its impressive

Don't forget Cody Head if he stays. It won't be on the chain but he could be like a Castaneda who came in and balled for 2 years.

His prime earning is just now beginning. You think Jordan made all his money during his prime? Lebron will be owning a team one day with whatever ownership group he forms. I'm sure he's had the post-retirement plan since he got to LA.

Can we get this Bowen for all of March

Our OOC opponents have had terrible results this week

Man who sits in the front for the dynasty ad next year. Very interesting to see who becomes the next leader of this team

Shammah again lol. 30 seconds left hit still clutch

What a beautiful day. Is this the warmest it’s been outside for an Akron basketball game??? It definitely is for me.

Toledo still brags about their 4 straight.

I LOVED the defensive intensity yesterday. Best I have seen this year. We need all of this and more in the MAC tourney!

Wait isn’t this game 31?

Im happy they have been posting these earlier. I have nothing to watch mondays usually

Way too flashy. Pun not intended

Akron vs Miami in the final would be the most anticipated MAC game in a few years

My Kent friend despises him it’s always hilarious seeing him react to Magnus with the ball

Big key to the game is the Mahaffeys. I say it every time we face Kent or Miami. They are the big disrupters, and their athleticism and physicality will continue to mess Kent up like they did before. Chabi did very well the few minutes he played last time against Kent so that will help too. Lyles will need all the help he can get on the interior with Gillespie and now Whaley back as well. Plus, Griffith who had 17 rebounds last game! Just a bonkers number for a bench player even with the terrible shooting. Hope we can set the tone early like we did last game and let the shooters do their thing late to pull away.

Idk how a 14pt win can annoy me but they find a way to do. Just shows you how much the expectations have risen
