If you look at Penno's shot: Dials was right there, but because the game clock did not start when it should have, he was able to put a fake on then step left and get a clean look. Had the clock started when it should have, he would not have gotten that clean look.

Saw a post on the flushes message board located off of ncaabs site, that Dials has a high ankle sprain. If this is true , we have problems.

When Quade was hammered to the floor twice, I immediately thought of : W. Kentuckyvs Zips and Andy Hip's back problems. Both players have similiar body types, even though Quade continued to play, back problems can show up later, hope he is sound!!!

The Zips need to recover from that loss last night and recover quickly. Take a look at the current MAC east standings. Then look at who Miami, Can't, and OU are playing and where the games are taking place. THE ZIPS ARE INDEED IN DANGER OF LOSING THE BYE!!!!! Even with a win over BG, the Zips could still end up with 5 conference losses. The chances of Miami and OU ending up with 5 conference losses are a real possibility. Then, because of that loss at Toledo, we miss the bye. Winning at Can't , on the last day of regular season will be difficult. To me , IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE GAME AT BUFFALO.

Both teams have a game left with OU. I beleive both are at OU. Might be best to root for Can't, that way we have a 2 game lead over Miami when we go there next week.Then hope OU is still trying to obtain a bye and takes care of the flushes.

skip-zip: Not sure I agree with you that the Zips vs Can't is for the #1 seed. If Zips beat the Rockets, they(Rockets) will have three conference losses, and Zipswill the tie-breaker(head-to-head) Also, if the Zips can take care of business at Miami(not an easy task), and OU beatsCan't at Athens, then Zips could have a 2 game lead over Can't when they play at the end of the season. Further more, I do not beleive the Rockets will lose any more conference games within the western division. Of course there are still many games to play.(6) But I do beleive the matchup-up Sat. will go a long way to determining the #1 seed.

Thing is blueandgold, both of those games are on the road: Won't be easy to win both!!
