I was too disappointed to bother to post last night. I beleive, and I hope I am wrong, that the season ended last night. It ended against a bad team. There will be no MAC title this year. There will be no MAC eastern title , not any bowl game.Yes I know that they still have 4 games to play, and could win all 4.There is enough blame to go around, but you have to put the blame mostly on:(not necessarily in this order) 1.) inconsistent line play 2.) inconsistent QB play 3.) stupid penalties 4.) bad red zone play calling There is no way the Zips should be 1-3 in conference play. Yes, the schedule wasbrutal, but still they have too much talent to let this season slip away.

Agree with all the posts. This is not what you want if your trying to upgrade your program.We as strong Zips supporters, need to let the university know that this does NOT cut it.In fact, this WILL hurt recruiting!!!! It just seems that those controlling this just don't get it. The university just can't think big time.

Can't does not have better players that the Zips!! You do not have a team like Can't, who last year was one of the worst teams in 1-a football, starting like this, five games into the season.Can't's Q.B. did in fact crush us!!!I am not saying that GP1 makes no good points, but I beleive he is wrong about his comparison of the talent level of the two teams

I was unable to attend yesterday's game due to recent surgery. From watching the game, it was definitely a complete team loss. I don' t believe you can point to any one play, missed tackle, missed vlock, fumble or penalty.What I believe is this. Maybe it starts with ARROGANCE!!!! KD did a good job this year. When you consider that they did not have J. Wood, he did an outstanding job. BUT!!!! He must accept some responsibility for that loss!!! When Toledo was making their run, they needed an additional scorer. Peterson is that player!!!Just because Linhart did a good job on the boards, against W. Mich, does not mean he will provide scoring punch against Toledo. Plus how many of you realize that Dials received a slight concussion in the Can't game!????

Good posts everyone!! Anybody that saw my post under the "not good" thread lastnight noticed that I praised KD for the job he has done this year. But!!!!In his efforts to win as many games as possible during the regular season(which is the idea when you are trying for any type of post-season bid), he now has a tired team.I do not care how mentally and physically tough a player is, all those minutes add up.He should have gone deeper, into the bench right after Bubba left. ESPECIALLY AT THE GUARD POSITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This slide actually started in Jan, though it did not showup immediately in the W-L column.
