I guess it's too expensive to produce a broadcast via ZipsZone only w/no advertising(?) Can't get much more contradictory than that...Not quite contradictory - Akron beat Ohio State before OSU joined the Big 10, so we've never beaten a Big Ten team, but we did defeat a school who later joined the Big Ten.ESPN showed a ticker-factoid of Tosu being 25-1 against MAC teams...I don't know if the 1 loss refers to the Akron/Buchtel game or if another MAC team beat them once upon a time?

I think the sarcasm directed toward the rifle student-athletes, including a nat'l champ, should be banned from the board..

Will they be announcing player names (ball carrier, receiver, tackler, etc.) over the PA after every play during the HS game? If so, that could get pretty annoying for the soccer fans.

The trade-off though is that we'll make less money on the "home-only" (fcs) game than we would with a 2nd payday game, and some other aspiring program (wku, fau, fiu...) will get the payday game and $$ to build their program up to compete with the rest of us. But then again, it would be good for the local economy to have the home game if we can draw a decent crowd.

CMU has beaten MSU a couple of times before...I'm a little surprised they keep getting scheduled.Miami has a combined score of 0-90 after 2 games.Ball U. is quite a turnaround story.The line on our Indiana game should be very close. Mistakes, kicking, turnovers will be huge in this one.

This was pretty cool. Peter was commenting on the game action and stadium from the 7th floor of the tower. We were able to ask questions and get answers in real time from someone who was there watching the game. Also got updates and commentary on other MAC games in progress. Thanks !

I say kudos to Morgan St. for coming to Akron for our stadium opener. Tough game for them but at least we are able to give them a nice check. Any guesses what the total ticket and concessions revenue was today? And how much we paid MSU?
