I'm not passing judgment on this either way, but when I see in every article that all of this "stuff" (bike-a-thon, computers for the schools, meals like this) is through The Lebron James Family Foundation, I have to wonder if any of this money is coming straight from his pocket. I also wonder how much of it is tax-deductible if it is coming from his pocket.
Don't get me wrong, it's good "stuff"...APS needs the computers, needy families need a good thanksgiving meal, etc...but I think occasionally he gets a bit too much credit just because his name is attached to it.
