I am starting to think we are snakebit. First Tree, then Robo, now Pat could be out. And don't forget AA This is NOT good.

The concept is that the system is the "Ohio State University System". So what is now OSU is really OSU Columbus and Akron would be OSU Akron.

In New York, all State Schools are SUNY (State University of New York) and are listed by location, so: SUNY Stoney Brook SUNY Binghamton SUNY Farmingdale Etc. Any sheepskin that says "SUNY" on it is good, regardless of the fact that some of the schools are way better than others. So, Ohio State University Akron would not bother me at all.

NO What if, just suppose, they renamed it Ohio State University (Akron Campus). I would have them send me a new sheepskin. Being an OSU grad is better in the business world than being a UA Grad. In my opinion.. Of course, I prefer they rename it HARVARD. :laugh_up:

Hard to wrap my head around this: We beat Miami, BG beats Can't, we beat Can't We are 11-7, Can't is 10-6, we move up BG beats Buffalo, they are also 10-6 BG and Ohio beat Buffalo, they are 10-6 CMU beats UT and WMU, they are 13-5 UT is beat by EMU, they are 11-7 WMU is no better than 10-6 SO That scenario leaves us behind CMU, tied with UT. I think we would get the fourth seed???? Now I have a headache. IF we win out, we are 11-7 That WILL put us ahead of Can't. Never mind, this is way too complicated. Let's just win out.

I always wanted to see it named: Akron STATE University. STATE just sounds bigger and badder.

The way Tino is playing, there will be some re-thinking about who plays where. And if this kid hits the weight room and puts on some muscle....well, at least it won't look like we have a middle school player on the floor! :mad_flame:

Of course, this was against the worst team in the conference. Let's see how we finish out.

The only comment I have to make on this thread and the OP is that KD was not on the floor missing easy shots.

That is a really tough injury. End of season, for some people end of career. I could not see it that well on the feed, but Frenchie and Dunn seemed to indicate he was hit pretty hard on that play.

It is obvious that this years team was built around Tree and we don't have anyone to replace him. What I am really concerned about is next year. We lose two of our best producers this year, where is that going to leave us?

What I take away from this game is that Tino will be a legit D1 point guard. He played very well, and will only get better. At the end of the game Deji should have been on Juice. He is athletic and has those extra long arms, he would have at least had a shot to get a piece of the ball.

Well that sucked.

Beat me to it. The most athletic guy on the team. Probably good for at least 8 points and 3 boards and a couple of steals. Oh well.

This is not good.

Our fate is now in our own hands. Win out and we win the MAC. Just that simple.

And we are now #80 in RPI, a jump of 12 places.
