    The biggest take away is Ivey making a layup and a three. He needs to get his confidence. I think he is the best athlete on the team and once he gets his D1 legs under him, he is going to be a huge factor.

    The biggest takeaway from the "pre-season" is that indeed Big Dawg can play. In fact, he appears to be out scoring Zeke at a similar point in his career. With Pat back in, they will be tough to defend in the Mac. I like the new BD and his more aggressive play.

    The good news is that it is way easier to recruit quality talent to a team that won a bowl game than a team that went 1-11 for years.

    I think the bowls with P5 contracts with no eligible teams will hold off until the end in the hope that schools like Akron get picked up and they can choose a 5-7 P5 team.

    OK, since we have not been a contender for a long time, I have not really paid attention. So how does this work? Right now there are 7 MAC teams that are bowl eligible. But there are, from what I see online, 5 bowl games that have a MAC contract. So how do all 7 (or 8) teams get a bowl bid? How does this work exactly?
