The best freshman I ever saw play was Len Paul. But that was against DII competition. This guy is the real deal, and will only get better. We have been in desperate need of a shooting PG. Melo did not give us that dimension at all. I hope he keeps right on playing the way he is going now.

I was one of the Deji haters in the past. I used to scream at the screen every time he came in. He turned into a star! Three pointers, drives to the bucket, rebounds. Obviously KD saw something in him. If he keeps playing this way, he will be a strong candidate for 6th Man of the Year. Tino has the old Deji disease - telegraphing his passes. He is a PG, he needs to work hard on that. But I do like the way he drives and shoots, he is an asset. Gladden needs to redshirt another year. Right now his is a liability on the floor. Turnovers AND missed shots. I stated earlier, if we lost this game it would be on him. In both the first half and when he came in in the second. Horrible. Needs to not play until he gets a lot better. Kwan, well I have always liked Kwan and said so. I think he still has some butterflies, but he can shoot threes, he can make jump shots, he can drive. He can block shots. This guy could be POY as a senior if he just keeps improving. Pat is a shock. Scores, defends. Wow. Who knew? Evans is playing very well, much better than last year. But the biggest problem I see right now is on the boards. USC was getting three and four shots. No good. Can not have that.

Gladden is NOT ready. If we lose it is on him, turnovers and horrible shots. Robo and Tino and Kwan playing well, Pat has turned into a player, Reggie is ice cold needs to sit.

our RPI is currently 179, which is the worst I can ever recall. But our SOS is 249, which of course is why we are ranked so badly at 2-0 Anyone know if that is based on the SOS year to date, or for the entire year? Because our schedule just got harder by winning last night.

I am feeling pretty good about it. We filled the biggest hole we had, which was at PG. Kwan did one heck of a job today being Tree. We have more speed and athleticism on the floor than we have had for a while. IF the guys can shoot, we should have a very good chance. Relative stats between the two teams are very close.

I am hoping that Robo can instantly become a 15 PPG player. I know he is the real deal, so who knows.
