  1. I guess technically this could have gone with the App State thread but thought it might have a better chance of being seen here. Are we missing starters from the beginning of the year in the defensive backfield? I was not familiar with #20 and #26 on Saturday. The missed assignment on the touchdown to the tight end and the wide open WR on the other TD is why I ask.
  2. I'm just pleased that the number is 8.5 instead of 2.5.

  4. +1 Prototypical tackler. He ran through, not at people.
  5. Wow. Based on that video we may have locked up the punting and kicking game for the next four years.
  6. I'm with you on that one. If the fade route in the real season represents the same proportion of plays as it did Saturday................. It's not typically a high percentage play.
  7. I'll add a couple more. Ticket scanners at the gate not working. TV's near the concession stands underneath all dark. No radio underneath the stands broadcasting Frenchie. Mr. Williams, are you listening?
  8. This looks like a good addition. I was surprised at his blocking ability on the Hudl video.
  9. They are doing a better job over at GoZips.com of covering signing day - pictures, bios, national map of signing states. http://gozips.com/sports/fball/2015-16/signing_day/index
  10. Couldn't open the link but agree with OL and TE (if we ever decide to use one)
  11. Looks like we need to reach out to any Central Michigan recruits that we are interested in. Their coach is leaving to become the OC at Arkansas. CMU is the only team without a head coach this close to signing day.
  12. Great find and excellent comments by the newest Zip.
  13. http://www.hurstathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4813&path=football Apparently Hoyer was at Mercyhurst in 2012 and yes - Brian Hoyer's younger brother.
  14. Never mind on Gentry. Looks like he "upgraded" and signed with Minnesota.
  15. From the Beacon back in September: Moeller wide receiver Isaiah Gentry signs with Can't. Akron was also in the mix. He doesn't appear on Can't LOI list today. Hmmmmm? Kid was a real beast in the State playoffs.
  16. Sounds like he has had multiple chances at Minnesota to stay in school and on the field and hasn't been able to respond.
  17. Based on HS playoff games watched over the last few days: Any lineman from Moeller Saw a lot of defensive line size that would be great to get so that we don't have to continue to rely on JC transfers.
  18. On Monday morning, my remaining torn up season tickets, food vouchers and parking passes will be mailed to Wistricil, Bowden and Milwee. There is no excuse for football like this.
  19. Not commits - offers. In the past, at this time of the year, we would be lucky to have a page full of 2014 offers.
  20. We have pretty much agreed in the past that getting excited about specifics on Scouts or Rivals leads only to frustration. However, I have been watching Scouts in particular for general recruiting trends and the results are very impressive. For example, the listing for 2015 (not next year) is already onto a second page. We also have 2 offers confirmed by the athletes for 2017! Kudos to the coaching staff in turning this process around in a very short time.
