The fans are looking right past the Zips. There is no discussion about the matchup. Just a little tune up until the real teams arrive in the bracket.

I recorded the game on my DVR. Now iff I could figure out how to make a copy onto a dvd or computer I could post some footage here.

Blue & Gold I watched Humpty play on tv today and I have to agree that this kid is incredible! He could be the best PLAYER EVER to play here. He is really quick, can dribble at full speed and bob and weave with ease. He consistantly threw 3/4 court passes to Chambers for layups to beat Polands press. He has a sweet soft shot and can pullup or drive and hit the reverse layup in amongst the big guys. I think he plays alot next year, talent like that doesn't sit for long.

We all need to go over to Ohio.com and post our feelings about this on the comments section for the article. If enough of us do it the story will appear on the most read section on the front page of ohio.com.http://www.ohio.com/sports/16634806.html -

I take that back, McCleod may not of been a head case at McKinley. I got that mixed up with his college days. At BGSU he all kinds of problem his first 2 yrs. I think everybody had problems with Dakich. When Dakich realized how good he was, he layed off of him.I know Keith personally and he is no head case. He is a pretty soft spoken guy and maybe took awhile to adjust a BG, but no head case. -
Be carefull about where you stand looking for that ticket. The university is cracking down on scalping tickets outside the JAR. I'd bet that there will be a couple of officers on the lookout for scalpers.

I am a Green resident and my son is involved in the youth football program started by McVickers. http://www.greenfootball.org/index1.asp With that being said, it was time for coach to go. He is too "old school" for todays footbal to take Green to the next level. His style could be described as harsh and I think that is being kind. He also had an annoying practice of only playing around 15 or so players, which resulted in alot of late game collapses. This season he complained how he had no experienced lineman, but they were mostly seniors and juniors who had been with the program and had not gotten ant playing time the season before. I love coach, but it was time to go.

The supposed home court advantage we get from the building itself is a myth. Just ask Coleman Crawford or Dan Hipsher. Good coaching is the difference, our belief that we will win every game in our house.

Forget the post. The whole thread is worth reading...especially page two. This is the final straw for me as far as Mollutt somehow trying to pass himself off as a Zips fan. The sweaters have really shown how low class they really are in that thread. =>News to me. I have never noticed Mollutt passing himself off as a Zips fan. My point is that you post crap like that on the Miami board and then come over here and try to act like nothing happened.

ok so he sits him when opponents pick up on his bad defense, why not. Ride his hot hand until his defense is exposed, nothing wrong with that. How much is he gonna score in 1 minute.

Timmy, I think you're missing a few zeros there on that upgrade to the sewer system. I think it's more in the neighborhood of $700 million. Akron has alot of combined sanitary and storm sewers. every time there is a big rain, the water from the storm sewers overwhelms the treament plant and the excess is dumped directly into the Cuyahoga river. The EPA has been threatening legal action for years. I think the mayor sees a way to shift the liability and blame for future cost increases away from the city and onto the shoulders of some corp.

At least its only a Miniscus and not an ACLor PCL. I've had a torn Miniscus and although it was painfull it didn't structurally make it impossible to walk. 4 weeks recovery seems about right. I guess we will see what Bardo is made of now.

May karma bring you your dream home, on a very very nice private and scenic piece of land, after a life of hard work, and personal dedication to find it and work on it and to get it just the way you love it, and a few days after you have retired there, you will open a letter from the local government informing you that you need to accept the price offered to you for it because a new shopping mall will be moving in because the old one at the old location just isn't good enough to serve the 'greater good' of your community.Afterall, your life and your dreams and your property rights all must bow the the multitudes of people who want their starbucks and coldstone creamery.Like comparing apples and oranges in this case. These propeties are a bunch of run down shit holes. The buisnesses would be wise to reinvest nearby because lots of people will be checking out the new stadium in the next few years. The thing is that these people aren't going to be interested in some beer soaked shithole, they will flock to new and clean though. Manny should build a new place across the street.Apples and Oranges to you... it's still fruit no matter how you slice it. The fruit being the fact that someone else's subjective judgement decides whether you get to keep what you own.I guess this is where you and I disagree. As a buisness owner I would look at it as an opportunity to move up in life.

Finally some sane posts on this thread. Esp. the part about what a true "Bracket Buster" would look like. Along the same lines, I would rather see us get a home game against one of the BCS lesser knowns, who will get into the postseason based only on pedigree.

Earlier in the season ZW said he thought Nate Linhart was our MVP. I Agree. I would hate to see where this team would be at without Linhart. He has been our most consistant player in all aspects of the game this year. I would dare to say if his shot was more consistant he would be NBA material at the 2 guard. He has the ability to cover smaller faster guards as well as bigger forwards. For a 6-7 guy he has above average ball handling skills. He is my MVP.

11 & 12 year olds are what I am hearing.

Compared to Hipsher, KD is very patient. Was lasts nights game one to remember> NO. A week from now you won't even remember.
