I seen this kid play and wasent impressed with him. I also have a link to his highlight film if anyone would like to see it. He would be by far the worst QB on the team. and he doesnt have the speed to play FS at the D1 level. then post the ink for us all to see and make our own judgment... also with that size he could play LB Lets see the link. I think he looked pretty godd when I saw him play around a dozen or so games. Does he have 4.4 speed? No, but he is mobile. Give the kid a chance.

If ever there was an oppurtunity for Rybek to get playing time, its tonite. :blink: I think KD would love to see this kid have some meaningfull minutes. I hope Rybek knows this is a potential career saver and comes ready to play.

I think we look tired. Some players are conserving themselves and it shows on the defensive side.

I'm not saying don't play the starters at all, just cut back on their minutes and don't overwork anyone. I still say this is a meaningless game.

Here is another name to add to the list of new recruits. Kade Wagner, 6'2" 200lbs QB/FS Green HS has signed a letter of intent to play for UA. Kade is a tough kid who comes from a good family and should contribute to the program down the road.

After seeing tonites game it is imperative that we give our starters some rest. Now that we have a 1st round bye its time to concentrate on winning the MAC tourney. Mondays game is meaningless in the overall scope of things. The only way we get into the big dance is to win the MAC and we aren't going to do that with Dru and company out of gas.

I was there also and Anthony Buford almost kept us in the game singlehandedly. He was one of the best athletes and pure shooters we ever had. Imagine if Huggins had stayed, we would have a few of the famous UC alumni as our players.

CK, All I can say is WHEW! :blink: Tonites game was one of those ugly nights where a good team wins in spite of itself. The Zips played their worst game of the season on defense. CMU shot 60% from the field and still lost! A win is a win.

I think that full court inbounds pass was called by the coacing staff. BSU was putting all 5 guys in the frontcourt to try to prevent the inbound pass and they thought Cedric would be wide open for the long ball.

It seemed to me that there were a lot of kids at the BSU game. Was there a special event that day with lots of discounted tickets passed out?

KD satd Linhart was sick all week. Had to take 2 IV bags for dehydration this week.

You're right about Taylors position, my bad! My point is that you never know what can happen and its always a good idea to recruit athletes who have speed.

I agree with this to a point. I look at someone like Jason Taylor and he probably STILL plays too high but obviously remains effective. However if this guy's speed is for real, I think we just found ourselves the outside pass rush that has been missing for a while (I don't consider Jermaine Reed piling up his sack stats against Buffalo and the like as constituting a consistent outside rush). Yeah baby!!! Jason Taylor was recruited as a QB.

Hoopla, Nice post. I agree that Dials is a very good defensive player. All KD wants is for the guys to play at full speed the whole time they are on the floor. Cedric is a great spark, but he can be careless with the ball. Did you see Dru yelling at Ced on Wed. for not coming back for the ball?

Hate to say it when you shoot 25 more foul shots than the opposition, but I thought the refs favored Can't if they favored anyone. It looked to me that the Flushers got most of the calls tonite. One ref in particular was all Can't.

The current coach doesn't build a team that needs a 30 point scorer. Any of the main guys can carry the team when needed, but nio one player dominates. I prefer this method.
