    You're right. I should have specified "young at the guard position". Buffalo is a mix of bad transfers and freshman. They're terrible.

    Buffalo is a small, young team that wasn't even remotely impressive the last time they played the Zips. The Zips need to atone for their sorry performance in Virginia last week and take care of business tomorrow. Zips by 17. The "WE-want_WIL-son" cheers will unfortunately fall on deaf ears.

    Roughly a week ago Groce said Nate was going to have the hard cast removed, with a soft cast replacing it. There are varying degrees of a "broken hand". I think Nate got a worse one than we'd like. If he's serviceable by the MAC Tourney I'd be ecstatic.

    What could he possibly do? He'll be 67 years old. Maybe he'd serve some purpose as a Coach Emeritus on Groce's staff? No way he could handle being an AD. Where I work, you're done at 70. Put on an iceberg and pushed out to sea.

    To paraphrase one of our opponent’s message boards earlier this year - “The Zips are Freeman, Tribble, Ali…and a bunch of guys.” Dawson and Hunter are virtually invisible. Get well soon Nate. We need you.

    I think there's a reason he's getting open looks. Hope he rights the ship. Groce obviously still has confidence in him. Also hope Johnson and his 43% shooting from 3 returns soon, but it sounds like we'll be lucky if he's available before the MAC tourney.

    Dawson is shooting 31% from behind the arc, and went 2-10 last night. Tough to justify taking 10 3's when you're shooting in the low 30's this far into the season. Nate Johnson was shooting 43.4% before he was injured. Miss that guy.
