do any of you realize that professional teams and big time college programs offer some sort of jewlwery to season ticket holders when they win championships? take a look on ebay sometime and you see the versions of rings offered to season ticket holders. they are not the same rings as the players get so calm down for cripesakes.

personally i would loved to have seen waddell become the AD. i think he did a fantastic job at his post and would be a great AD. the "fear the roo" campaign was his baby. i think a great strength of his is his ability to listen and consider ideas from anyone. believe me, i am nobody but a friend to the programs but mike would seriously listen to any thoughts i had and consider them. mike has given his all to the university even to the point of endangering his health. i know this was not an easy decision for mike to make. for some reason, he really loves akron and the university and WANTS to be here. even with a substaintial increase in salary from cincy, he had a difficult time deciding to leave. i wouldn't be surprised to see mike back here again someday. when the day comes that mack decides to move on, i'd lay money that you'll hear of mike interviewing at akron. mack is the man and gets my support but i've suddenly become a cincy fan (as long as they are not playing the zips). onward and upward.

gotta play with what is dealt you. if we had no tourney, i'd have no problem saying Can't is mac champs. but we do and it is yet to be determined who the mac champ is. i'd be the first to say we weren't the best team in the mac last year in football (we will be this year) but we did what it took to be mac champs and therefore we are :macc: .right now, no one is the champ in b-ball. whoever wins three in cleveland is the rightful champ. be it us or god forbid, the team in blue and piss yellow.

how about some kind of bling bling for us long suffering zip fans to purchase? fans that suffered through years of shit and family of the players ought to be able to get something. the pro teams offer something to season ticket holders and i think even bigger college teams do when they win championships. fear the bling!! :macc:

i have to admit i'd be impressed by any team that could win the regular season AND tourney. a team that wins just the regular seasn doesn't mean much. a team that wins the tourney is the real champ in my mind. oh, and piss on Can't by the way

i agree with the captain. i can't beleive someone would be foolish enough to post that. i was there and tailgated at 7:00 am with 20 others. we had to take turns eating and holding the tent flaps down so it wouldn't blow away. i was shocked to see as many people as i did when i entered the rubber bowl. no doubt in my mind had it been a clear morning in the 40's there would've been 30,000 there. "i've seen worse" what an ass.

hey steuby, care to tell a little about the tradition of turkey day to the people who grew up in akron? i've only lived here for 40 years, i'm sure you in your 6 months here know much more about it than i do. you're a zip. you attend a lot of events, i take it. i think everyone appreciates your enthusiasm for the university but you don't know shit about turkey day, the city, or the people who live here......yet. live and learn.
