One game where they do their job is not a reason to let them off the hook for years of lousy coverage. The OSU game was a late start and a later finnish. That may be the only reason Akron was so nicely displayed on the sport pages. And they were nicely covered. Two great pics and nice articles to boot. I would bet that if the game times were reversed, you would be hard pressed to find the articles. My 2 cents

I'm not sure, but I may have seen a pick. Of course it was a bad angle and he may have been rubbing his nose. It was a great win for the program and that is the most important part of todays game. Harvey looks like the real deal.

That's when he had good protection and crouch was out of the game. That's an awful breakdown of how the game was played. We had approximately 75 offensive plays. Which were the several plays you refer to?

I would agree with these statements. I believe we can celebrate and still discuss aspects of the game. I didn't like the play selection in the second half. Why can't we throw to our big tight ends? Kennedy needs more rest during the game. We already proved we couldn't protect Getsy with an empty backfield and we continued to run plays that left him a sitting duck. Why couldn't we have a pro set and keep one of the backs in to help out. I thought crouch had another bad game. We were lucky when he tried to get thrown out of the game that he didn't come back in. Did you see him mouthing off and following the ref? Whoever grabbed him and took him off the field should get their sprints cut in half. That's a senior captain team leader??? JD seems to be slowly coming around to the realization that he is a liability on the field. He can't move his feet!!! They moved Kemme to left tackle after the facemask penalty on crouch and drove 96 yards for a touchdown. The defense was the key to this win. I can't say enough good things about the way they played. Well done. What a fantastic win for this program. If we could just go for the jugular and ease my pain at those close finishes. Sorry to those who don't like my post. These are things I needed to say today.

Don't worry zip fans, the new management continues business as usual. There was no mention of the Zips game today on the front page. High school scores and Barberton vs. Firestone teaser. Go to the sports page and they mention the zips! There is one sentence on the lower right side under the k-ent st sentence. Look very carefully, it's hard to see. Go to the college page and you will find the write up directly under the k-ent st. article. As you may imagine, the k-ent article includes a picture of their running back.
