ok... i am planning on going to all games but still thought i'd check if the games were on fsn and i find that they are mostly showing a 10 games?????? can someone at mac headquarters get on the ball here???? and we wonder why support is low. tourny games need to be on fsn at the very least! get on the ball guys!

i think we'd have a pretty good chance at the ville at this point in the season on a neutral court. padget just went out with a knee so they wouldn't have much more size than akron. i do feel that the rpi is mostly on. the only problem we had this year was that the non conference teams we played normally have better records and would have given us a better ranking and perhaps a shot at an at large bid. oh well lets win the tourny and not worry about it!

i thought i saw in the press conference that he started classes in spring so he can practice but will have to sit out a year. could work our well as we really don't need him right away and he'll have time to get back into shape

don't get me wrong i'd rather have the title for this season but i am looking at the question over the course of two years....

as far as back up qb its jackson's to loose kennedy is the starter at running back with the new recruits to get some carries late in the season (if at all) i agree the the interesting battles will be in the secondary and middle linebacker.... baker, howe, and don't forget about jamell benjimen coming back from a knee injury... as far as the secondary goes it could go a number of ways... goes pace come back from injury to start at ss? does that move mackey back to rover? does henry stay at rover or does he go back to conerback? can anderson and tate take over as starters? and there are tons of options at fs..... the best thing to remember is that this is a great problem to have! also i thought i read on a rasor post that height and marshall were in school and doing well and that terry never inrolled? can someone confirm this with a source?

i look at this question as what will help the team in both seasons.... if win the mac this year that would be great but if we are one and done and don't win the mac next year chances are we won't get an at large bid (see Can't st. ) but if we make the nit and make to the final 4 we get great coverage this year and build momentium for next year and will have even a bigger buzz..... either way we should be happy!

msoher i am not trying to jump on you too i do feel that you like the zips but your point about the mac making their student athletes carry a 2.0 gpa is pretty common with most dI conferences. if anything the mac's standards are a little low. with that being said many of the larger schools do have an advantage with larger budgets.... i feel for ut as they will have a slighty tougher time maintianing their program to their high standards.

even though i don't like reading this columist all that much pat forde wrote a really good article on espn.com it gives some good insight to this new problem the mid to low major programs will have now. lets hope they tweek the system because if the mac is hurting it will hurt akron some as well

our budget doesn't even come close to a school like uc..... that's why he left money!!!! i can't blame him he just got passed over here. that being said he will be missed. best of luck uam!

now don't get me wrong i would rather have the mac title to ourselves but by getting the 3 seed it makes our path to the finals of the title game a less difficult. we should get ohio and more than likely niu as compaired to um and can't on the other side of the bracket .... let them beat each other up and we'll cruise to the finals

if conyers keeps his grades up then we have our tall guard..... we could go either way as we are a little thin up front but really only have one true point guard... (though we singed one for next year) i think that its easier to get the guard and coach likes quick teams so my answer would be to go with the small guard who can handle the ball

while i was driving around campus yesterday after the b ball game i saw the park by campus was torn down. is there any rumors about what will happen with the land? is the university interested in it?

i thought the rowdies did a great job! the only advice i'd give is for both ends of the court to do the same thing .... there were too many situations were one end was doing something different. perhaps hold up cards with numbers on them saying what to do next would work? with that said keep up the good work!!!!
