i know i started a similar thread sorry i think this is importantdepth chart updated no changes on o. but chaven pace is no were to be found on d with jason nedd showing as the starter and kabir listed second on the cart.....any one have an update on this?

i am still not sure if crouch needs to sit but some of theese younger guys need some game reps. does anyone know if any of the younger guys are getting more reps during practice? also on the left side is donaldson. he's too slow! i agree we need to see some more of shepe (sp) bates, and anderson. i don't want to see any major shake ups as o lines need reps as a unit but something needs to be done if this continues.

i don't think i am jumping the gun by saying this but is it time to consider making some changes with the starters? the left side of the o line is not performing well at all. crouch looks very slow and is holding the line back. what has happened to kaz? he can't catch a cold and isn't blocking well either. on d tate looked like he had no clue out there. i am not sure if there is an option to replace him or if his performance was more due to a poor defensive scheme? all of these players have performed well in the past but have been looking very flat. any one else out there seeing what i am seeing?

most of you know that fox sports will be showing the game on sat. but for those not in the ohio area espn game plan has picked up the game.

if they get out to a early lead the game won't be close as Can't can not throw the ball. if they have trouble in the rain and get off to a slow start akron will win a much closer game. reguardless akron has too much talent.

for those of you that have rivals here's a good story on akron's commitmentclick mefor those of you that don't have rivals the story compairs him to dru with a little more quickness and can score a little better. the stroy also talks about how the Steward family thinks KD isn't going anywhere soon (good news) he is also ranked as the 13th best palyer in the state of ohio!

he didn't have the grades after high school.. he was the 17th ranked wr. in the nation.. he was set to go to prep school but i think he broke his hand? and chose to take nite classes. once he got his grades up most of the big boys came back but akron never left his side! i'm sure the chance to start as a frosh didn't hurt either! the kid is a man child!

you are right but i think the story asks the question if luke would have stayed would he helped last season... imho luke would have been red shirted the year he transferred to akron.. the question that we should think about is ... think of what akron's team would look like had he stayed. fergy would have been the starter last year and one of the young kids probably jackson would have beat him out this year. more than likely no mcc and we are rebuilding again! thank god he made the choice he did

didn't george mason go to the final 4 last year and their center was 6'8... and look at how small Can't's elite eight team was.. if you are on the small side you need great guard play, a deep team, and athletic bigs. akron has all three and should win 25-28 games with the schedule they have. also akron's rpi will be good as (posted in other thread) road wins boost a teams rpi.

i am shooting for 1 although i am sad to say most of my crew wont arrive till 4... can't wait though!

i am as upset as the rest of you but i really think this is coming down to money. based on comments in the paper over the past 3-5 yrs. and seeing what the admin. has done in that time i am not worried about a poor product but it sounds like they'll have a hard time raising more than 60 mill. in the time frame they have set. one thing to keep in mind. in 5-10 yrs after the stadium is built the university can look at student funds again for the expansion. like most of you on this board i will wait until we see the final plans but this is what it sounds like to me....also nick is a good guy! go chi!

he's a senior and needs to make better reads reguardless if he's feeling heat from the d..... i think he'll come around and get well against north texas

i can't be happy with this game.... i know that luke played very well in the end but he is a senior and needs to make better decisions... i don't want to hear fans starting to say "its just luke being luke" he's better than this... oh well the games over see you at the home opener!
