  1. Very nice! We have a chance for revenge. Take THAT, Shaka! I hope the BB fans will be there.
  2. The American football game is being broadcast on Big (League that Can't Count) TV. At 6 AM Saturday, HST. The drive is just too long (and wet) for me! Go Zips -- Wreck Havoc!
  3. The women's schedule is out at the same time. And they're taking a late November trip to the Big West to play @ Cal Poly SLO and vs UC-Davis. Hey! a visit to Paso Robles after Thanksgiving is this vinophile's dream!
  4. Well, that's probably more likely than Lee Corso ever wearing it!
  5. The move from unranked to #10 in the nation! Nice weekend, Bears!
  6. Still trying to figure out how in the world you sign in/register for Instagram!?! Now secondarily, to the Suckeyes: You can have your disgraced football coach back. But Bron is OURs Baby!!
  7. With the accent on ACADEMIC!
  8. A little notice finally for Victor, and his rookie midfield running mate from New York Red Bulls.
  9. Los interwebs. En mi telefono.
  10. The Craft Beer Bubble, from Tampa Bay Times expert Justin Grant. The competition in these drinkeries seems to be ever on the rise. Where I live there's a new one opening up about each month. But it seems there's one going-out-of-business at the same pace. It's a dog-eat-dog world, and one reason IMHO that many of these places go under is they don't pay attention to the food. You gotta have cuisine that can compete with the suds!
  11. Tressel is now vice president for student success. Alright..but what in the world does he DO??? Is there a position description anywhere?
  12. A 1982 graduate of Duke University with a degree in geology, Jones has done post-graduate work at Indiana University and, in 1989, received a Ph.D. in earth sciences from the University of California-San Diego. At Cornell, Jones was a post-doctoral research associate in the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering. At Illinois, he was a visiting assistant professor of theoretical and applied mechanics. But he most enjoys running in circles.
  13. WOW! Thanks Zip_ME87. Joining his sister, who also plays for Mexico's U-20 WNT.
  14. So you think we're looking at a 4-3-3?
  15. I was just looking at the BC Eagles website. No Andy on their 2013 roster. Wonder if he's giving up on soccer -- he's pre-med and all that, so a bright future.
  16. GP1 and I are not exactly twins in political terms, but one thing we both understand is that politicians maintain their livelihoods by building inanimate objects skyward. And the next generations pay the cost.
  17. GoZips, I believe this is the first time I have seen this post (bettah late den nevah, eh?). Too bad I missed it the first time around, because I would have been really rooting for the Anaheim Classic, as I've always wanted to visit both Disneyland AND Knott's Berry Farm! And I have family and new friends over there in Orange Cty (due to Hawaii soccer). Do you think we'll get to go there any time in the future? I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Z.I.P.
  18. So, I take it the Rockettes are over their academic probation? Good luck to them. I see them #2 or three in the east behind EMU and (maybe) WMU. Middle of MAC overall.
  19. Well, if he wears that shirt in Honolulu, he's going to be popular. And I've got just the socks to go with it!
  20. Just curious, did you actually attend any of those games? Mark Alberts set the NCAA record for three-point baskets, making over 100 in a season three times as I recall. Roy Coleman was a talent that could have been all-MAC had he gotten the opportunity. The only thing that kept Akron from winning the Mid-Continent was the near complete lack of a post game. But they were exciting. That said, Deji might have competed for playing time on those teams, not sure.
  21. This is an awesome opportunity for all the Akron fans in Hawaii to see our team in prime time at 9 PM (or ten if after the time change), if we cannot make the trip to Moraga. Thanks Keith!
  22. I like the hula girl kit. Is that one of ours or, yours DB?
  23. February 2004 was the launch.
  24. How long have we been hearing that harangue? Per recent reports, Deji is going to give the starters a run for their money. The only place Deji might go is to the hoop, in the B&G.!
