I think what is posing as discussion here is best referred to psychologically as self-hatred, left over from the days of Akron U's losses in the first round of NCAA College Division games in the mid 70s. LeBron has stated publicly that, had he played college basketball, he would have spent his year in the JAR, with his coach, Keith Dambrot. Either that, or you're right -- having the most famous athlete in the nation playing in your gym and promoting your team is irrelevent.

Anyone know why Hirschman didn't play today? (heard something about him injuring himself on a TD celebration. ) We sure could have used him with the other guy throwing the ball out of bounds so much. As far as the end goes, I don't know what the clock rule is -- were they supposed to add time after the replay? The announcers sounded surprised that they didn't give more time to Akron.

The Craft Beer Bubble, from Tampa Bay Times expert Justin Grant. The competition in these drinkeries seems to be ever on the rise. Where I live there's a new one opening up about each month. But it seems there's one going-out-of-business at the same pace. It's a dog-eat-dog world, and one reason IMHO that many of these places go under is they don't pay attention to the food. You gotta have cuisine that can compete with the suds!
