"Monster"... Hints? Position or State?

05 was great... but 06 will be better I think. Henderson and Hakes together have me real anxious to see them. And with the addition of Jackson at Center this class is starting a nice trend of getting a solid line.

It deserves as many posts as people want to put up... cause as I'm sure you know everything starts with the Offensive and Defensive lines. Go Zips... this class is really shaping up well.

Too Bad Chichester committed to Louisville, woulda made this an already solid class, an even better one. I am going to still look for Akron to pressure him into a signing day change of heart. Stay close to home and help lift this up-and-coming team to dominance, he'd also get a shot of pay-back on Sept.7, 2007 in The Shoe when Akron squares off with the Buckeyes... boy would it be nice to see the Zips go in there and steal one, it'd really help bring the program into the national spotlight.

I know that not many of you will believe this but J.D. and the Athletic Director's 4-year goal is to get Akron into the Big East and become the BCS team you all are talking about. Why do you think that J.D. and the AD request that the new stadium seat 45k??? Their trying to model it off of the move that Louisville made from C-USA to th Big East. That's one of the reasons the stadium is so high on their priority list. Ya'll probably won't believe me but that's their goal.

Ny guess is Akron is going after Glass because of Ferguson transferring, and maybe they're also thinking of moving one of the QB's to another position after they evaluate the situation this spring. Glass looks like he'd be a solid back-up/role-player, not really a difference maker like C.J. and Hakes but would further solidify the position. I like the move but we'll see whether they get this kid or they pick-up another kid next year.

PSU is gonna be a real tough game... but I think that NC State will be a match that is possible to win, with alot of Akrons best talent being redshirted this past season look for them to suprise NC State in that game. I think Jabari Arthur in the next few years is going to become a very dominant force and with Getsy's maturity and experience they will have a great season next year. To be honest I don't see a team in the MAC other than Miami U having more talent with BG losing Omar, and Toledo losing Gradkowski. Does anyon know if NIU's back was a senior, i know they had a Freshman QB.

What all does the signing day conference entail... list of signees, description of players, background, plans for them etc.??? Never been to one and don't really know what they're about.

Probably wouldn't be a bad recruiting tool either. Having a stadium like that Akron would easily persuade any kid looking at heading to the MAC or even some of the bigger conferences. Have they started working on the stadium yet or is it still in the drawing phase. I heard it was gonna be done by 2008 and that they were gonna break ground in Jan.
