I tried, I have the box unclicked where it says Only admins can approve requests to join. I can make you an admin if you want to tinker with it. The group is set to Open to all, I think facebook requires approval. Anyone can approve though, I think.

read that article and it looks like this is something they discuss every year at these meetings? The problem we have this year is the $2,000 spending limit football and basketball players are going to get. If expenses are going to be cut, soccer is going to be exposed to those cuts.

Wondering what the streaming quality is going to be like? Not sure, Barley House has Wi-Fi, if everyone brings a laptop, we could hook every one to a TV. I had a difficult time in the banquet room back in January for USA vs Chile. The receiver was so outdated, we couldn't get a good connection. By the way, some of your former Zips were hanging out at Manny's after the game. Ampai, Zemanski, Gavin, Bush, Nanchoff. It was good to see all those guys and I'm pretty sure I said some ridiculous things to them. I have connectors to hook a macbook up to a tv through HDMI, the fact that the game is on at 8 blows my mind. The stream probably wont have sound so I might end up having the MLS Cup with sound running split screen with the Akron stream

I am ALL for the watch party. But where are we going to watch? have been waiting for the University to announce something. If they don't by tonight, we should have a plan A. Gozips shows the game scheduled at 8pm?? that makes no sense with the MLS Cup starting at 9.

We had the best attendance in the NCAA on Thursday, and are 3rd best in the nation. We've declined a little bit over last year but what we have is still special. Plan on tailgating for every home game next year. Will renew my season tickets as soon as they let me.
