Louisiana got whipped again last week. They may not be what everyone thought they were.

Why shouldn't we be? We lost last year to the #11 team on this list in Can't state. We also got beat by ball state and got throttled by buffalo. Who on here can say that we are better than Toledo, bgsu, Ohio, NIU, western or central? Either that or the drano aisle is simply larger than the kool aid aisle in Massachusetts.

I agree. The defense was dominate in the 2nd half. Kick the field goal, get a stop and go score. The killer was kicking the ball out of bounds. It completely changed field position.

Oh, I am only partially blaming Woodson. He made some poor throws and poor decisions, but the blame falls at the feet of the coaches. It is amazing how our staff gets out coached in almost every MAC game.

Sacks are included in rushing numbers and Woodson took some bad ones!! We also ran quite a few bullshit "trick" running plays with Davis, etc.. That did nothing.And to your point, when we ran we were typically in obvious running situations. The offense wasn't very creative. As for throwing the underneath stuff...that was open quite a bit, but Woodson was terribly inaccurate. We missed a lot of 10-15 yard slants that were wide open, but we threw behind or too high.

We got out schemed the first 2 series of the game by their offensive coaches, but besides that the defense was dominate. The offense was terrible. We couldn't sustain a drive and the play calling was extremely questionable. We never leaned on the running game enough. Woodson was terribly inaccurate and indecisive.

Can't fans, for the most part are apathetic. My disdain for OU probably exceeds Can't.

Bowden mentioned during his show that Jamal Marcus was being held out for a groin. They were keeping him out until conference play.

As sad as our situation is, I have to agree that Woodson deserves the start.....Mind you....that is only if Pohl cant play. Chapman needs to be #3.

That is a great article. Strong knows that he needs to do something now or he is out the door. Bowden knows of our historical mediocrity and current financial issues. He has zero sense of urgency to fix things right now because "he is looking at the big picture" and he knows we cant afford to dump him.

My entire thread was a little over-dramatic, but i did it on purpose to see what sort of reaction it would get because so much of our fanbase is blindly loyal to this guy. I do believe at the end of the season we seriously need to re-evaluate where he stands because I see next year being an absolute trainwreck. We have possibly the worst offense in the country right now and we lose our entire starting offensive line, best QB, top 2 tailbacks and half of our starting receivers. What makes it worse is that there is nobody lined up behind them as an upgrade. Believe it or not there is actually a downgrade! Also, the defense will have to replace Coe, Grice, Brown, Evans, Monroe, Givens and Cheek. We dont have guys on the roster to replace them and we dont have a line of transfers like in years past. The future looks dim
