  1. Agreed. I also want to see slants and more quick hitters in motion.
  2. That coach must really hate Stanford and Marshall.
  3. Our offense is full of playmakers. Playmakers need the ball to make a play, which means the QB has to get them the ball. That's the issue. It's not a lack of talent.
  4. Hopefully getting Dyson back is the switch that needs flipped.
  5. Barstool Gambling posted about Akron's Turnover Tire. The celebratory rubber necklace is getting A LOT of run.
  6. Kentucky started 4-0 last year with wins over Miami (OH), Florida, YSU, and NIU. They proceeded to lose 6 of their next 9, including a loss to Vandy (oof) and a scoreless 21 pt loss to Iowa in their bowl game. They had a potential Heisman QB and a QB that fell to the 2nd round in the NFL draft. They finished 7-6 and lost their QB. They are beatable. The issue is, upsets typically require a QB to pull off. It took 2 pick sixes to beat Northwestern with Kato Nelson at the helm under Bowden. We'll need a similar defensive performance to have a shot with the mess of Undercuffler/Irons/Tahj. I wish I could be more confident.
  7. Morning after thoughts... - How the hell did we win that game? Snatching victory from the jaws of Defeat. - One of my earlier posts requested that we simply not be one of the teams that loses to a FCS squad. We accomplished that (somehow). CMU needed a game-winning FG to beat New Hampshire. Northern Illinois lost to Southern Illinois. Buffalo lost to Fordham. Boston College needed a miracle late turnover to hold on against Holy Cross. Idaho WHOOPED Nevada. Hawaii needed a comeback win against Albany. I believe the Transfer Portal will even out the FBS talent wise for a more competitive platform, and there's no reason that wouldn't apply to the FCS as more talent is blocked from FBS rosters. - Our defense is the real deal. They'll keep us in most games this season (barring injury). It was great to see us possess the ability to create turnovers and get pressure on the QB. That's about where the positives end. - We don't have a QB at the moment. DJI doesn't have the decision making ability, and Undercuffler doesn't have the physical traits. When he came in, the decision making was 1000% better. Problem is, once the defense got used to the better decision making, they realized the only decisions being made were sideline throws. We wasted a golden opportunity against a lesser opponent to figure out our QB situation and fix our offensive woes. - If Fessler is the one calling plays, Joe needs to take that control back. The play calls aren't Milwee-level-bad, but it's not great. The WRs aren't running playmaking routes and stuff is taking too long to develop. Kentucky looks beatable. It's a shame we seemingly don't have a QB that can do it.
  8. The Touchdown Tire was featured by Acho during halftime of the Cal/Auburn game.
  9. UNBELIEVABLE.
  10. Forgot about Dijon Mustard. I'll take him. That's fine. Anybody but Underthrower and DJ Soft Metal.
  11. Tahj, Wasel, or just save the University some money and forfeit the season. That's where I'm at with these QBs.
  12. If they don't think Tahj can throw, I'm ready to see Wasel.
  13. CMU needed a game winning FG to survive powerhouse New Hampshire.
  14. He does in-stadium announcing for the Browns games.
  15. DJI in there celebrating Golden-Nelson's pick 6 - credit to him!
  16. Are the refs from the Chiefs/Lions game doing our game?
  17. TOUCHDOWN AKRON!
  18. I don't like Undercuffler's physical traits, but my goodness is his decision making 1000% better than DJI.
  19. Top 10 soccer program carries us to basketball season.
  20. This simply isn't fun. The air could not be leaving the balloon faster with this offense/team.
  21. * Quietly repeats to self * At least they aren't 10 second delayed handoffs... At least they're exciting stall outs...
