  1. Any possibility for Fessler to take over play calling?
  2. I was busy chasing my two girls around the game, and didn't get a chance to post about this. That was a BS penalty. The QB had slipped and tried to keep his body up. He was down but nearly impossible to see as a player in the moment. It was pretty bang bang, too.
  3. He didn't block anyone. Not sure what rule that is in the book, but it's inexcusable. Sad to hear about Irons. @LZIp nailed it. Polarizing play but always gave it his all. Give me Bullock ROS.
  4. This is where I'm at, plus a little more. We have Irons, Undercuffler, Bullock, Jennings, and Wasel on the staff. Irons isn't moving the offense. Fine. Undercuffler isn't moving the offense. Fine. Why not run with Bullock/Jennings/Wasel? Joe likes Irons (may be his demise). Fine. How can we make Irons more effective? An offensive genius has to be able to scheme guys open and fit the play calling to his personnel. Irons has a big arm, so why not take a few more deep shots, especially with post patterns? On shorter throws, why not more over the middle throws with shorter quicker crossing routes? Irons can run, but defenses know that. Why not get the RBs going in space outside of the tackles to help open the game up? Do we have speed on this roster? Where is it and why aren't we using it? Can't attract talent now? Fine. But what's going to change if this is what we are getting with the "offensive genius"? This offense is a 100 year old machine that has sat out in the elements and never been maintained. Everything is grinding and difficult to move; nothing is smooth. With the transfer portal opening up college athletics, the talent we have may not even stay. Might as well figure out what we have and try to benefit from it while we have it. If Joe doesn't like certain things as a Head Coach, he needs to find someone to handle those things properly or not be a Head Coach in the first place. This is complete garbage and inexcusable.
  5. First thought before the snap, "And it's blocked." Joe Arth. I'm done.
  6. If the field was 120 yards long, you might've had a chance. What an awful throw.
  7. Joe Arth until further notice. Much better recruiting. Same football ineptitude, playcalling, and execution.
  8. I'll never understand why Wiley or Perez weren't in for the FG against Indiana. Accuracy was never the issue and it was a chip shot.
  9. Hope whoever's job it is to take notes on plays, notates that Anderson was wide open in the flat on the opposite side of the field on the short field rollout in the redzone.
  10. Gameday. Haven't been this excited for a home game in years. No excuse for people not to show up. BYE week for Ohio State, beautiful weather, and a bunch of marathon runners who can do their post marathon relaxation at the Info. 1-0 in the MAC. Go Zips!
  11. Chase Blackburn is the Special Teams Coordinator for the Rams. He got destroyed on Pat McAfee today for a fair catch that occurred in last night's game against the Bengals. *Warning: Language*
  12. What we saw in the 2nd half against Indiana was a confident Irons who had his swagger back. If that's the Irons we get this week against Buffalo, we win going away. Our defense is the 2nd best in the MAC. 2nd Half Indiana Irons: 31-10 Akron 1st 3 Weeks Irons: 17-10 Akron
  13. Touchdown Jesus was their 11th. All kidding aside, this is a fireable offense.
  14. Perez makes that kick. Accuracy - if I'm not mistaken - hasn't been his issue.
  15. Why wasn't Perez in for the FG?
  16. HUGE!
  17. PROTECT THE DAMN FOOTBALL PLEASE!
  18. LET'S F'ING GOOOO!!!!!!
  19. Do we even have a 2 minute offense?
  20. TOUCHDOWN LINGUARD!
  21. If you know you're going for it on 4th, it's a good play call to get a few more yards.
  22. WHAT A SPECIAL TEAMS PLAY CALL!
  23. TOUCHDOWN!!!! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!
  24. We suck but these refs are a flaming pile of dog 💩. Obvious block in the back on that kick return.
