Props to Omaha on keeping up. Hopefully we fix some of the defensive flaws and keep knocking down shots in the 2nd half. This is a good "tournament" for us. We're able to work on some things while also playing competitive DI squads.

The hypothetical "what if" game is for ratings/social media views IMO. It is a nice speculative conversation, but it doesn't serve the system. Boise State should arguably be ahead of every team except Oregon and Ohio State. 11-1 should be rewarded, not punished. Would hate to see FSU 2.0.

Gray's worst part of his game was 3P shooting. If he's knocking em down, look out. He has MAC POTY written all over him.

Ole Miss going down helps them. Georgia looking like poop vs UMass helps them. If a school beats everyone on their schedule except the #2 team in the country, they should be in. Can't help the rankings of the others on your schedule.

Not sure if anyone watching caught this, but Indiana has a DL transfer from Kent State (West is his name I think). The announcers said he has to work extremely hard academically to either become eligible or get into IU. Joke of a school we have to our east. Thank goodness we are up wind from them.

Tavari's decision making is still wildly questionable. I'm more comfortable with Sharron Young as a freshman, and that's as much an indictment on Tavari as it is a compliment for Young. Harris needs to ice his lower back for the quick turnaround tomorrow.

Our ball movement is fantastic. Will be interesting to see how much better we look in March when the chemistry is more solidified. Also, Amani is a completely different player this year. Wow. Props to him for putting in the work this off-season.

Okonkwo was definitely called out for the poor rebounding performance against SMC. He is responding well IMO.

I think the criticism for KD's schedules was surrounded around being in years 10, 11, 12, 13, and not taking that next leap as a program. Should the program under Groce fail to take that same desired leap, it will get loud. It's also a very different college basketball landscape now compared to KD's tenure. Complete roster overhaul doesn't exactly lend itself to wanting a P4 gauntlet. Competitive mid majors suit this squad better.

It's technically supposed to be a "neutral" environment I believe.
