  1. Your post about promotion/relegation dismissed the concept due to the presumed results of the promoted team(s) (i.e. Toledo in your example). I was simply saying that the Playoff is exclusive to 8-12 teams who actually have a shot at winning the whole thing, not simply participating.
  2. Quite a few people. The aforementioned proposal has a ton of G5 fan support as it spreads around X. The key would be to lock in a promotion for X amount of years (say 3 for example). That way the financials and promotion would have time to affect talent influx. At least with this, the G5s would get a shot to force the Power Conference teams to play them. That's more than what we have now, and it would make for a more exciting landscape. The Playoff is already exclusive to about 8-12 programs, so this doesn't change that. I don't think there's a legitimate belief the P4 would agree to this. But it's good fodder for a forum.
  3. The MAC account said it's simply a placeholder to keep things even for the scenario. I've also posed questions aimed at the promotion/relegation matchup seeding and promotion length.
  4. Not sure which team this is against.
  5. This would be interesting.
  6. The ACC disrespected itself by signing the TV deal they did.
  7. More pansy 💩 from Power Conference teams, this time from 4-8 Wake Forest. 1-7 in conference so I'm not sure where Clawson gets off on feeling superior to most G5s.
  8. Freeman > Bronny. Confirmed.
  9. Freeman is getting a lot of run.
  10. It gets weirder. Doug will be keeping his daily FOX radio show.
  11. There's a word that starts with P that would be the perfect way to describe the SEC and probably the other power conference schools.
  12. Each plays 8 conference games this year and the POC schedules vary. From the schools I looked at... App State: 1 FCS, 1 P5 (Pay Game), 2 G5 Coastal Carolina: 1 FCS, 1 P5, 2 G5 James Madison: 1 FCS, 1 P5 (Pay Game), 2 G5 Marshall: 1 FCS, 2 P5, 1 G5 Old Dominion: 2 P5, 2 G5 South Alabama: 1 FCS, 1 P5, 2 G5 Troy: 2 G5, 1 P5, 1 HBCU For comparison... Akron: 1 FCS, 3 P5 Kent: 1 FCS, 3 P5 Miami: 3 P5 (Cincy presumably was not P5 when scheduled), 1 G5 NIU: 1 FCS, 2 P5, 1 G5 Ohio: 1 FCS, 2 P5, 1 G5 Toledo: 1 FCS, 1 P5, 2 G5 WMU: 2 P5, 1 G5, 1 HBCU
  13. I wonder which team they're playing. Freeman swatting the 💩 out of Bronny or Sears would be fun.
  14. Looks like 1pm for Freeman's combine appearance.
  15. He did all the measurables at the G League combine. Not sure if we'll see him participate in the same agility, speeding, and shooting drills that were performed today at the NBA Combine. He measured a 7'2" wingspan. Impressive.
  16. Ignore the quote Freeman had 25 & 13 vs Osobor, outscoring & outrebounding "Great" Osobor in that game.
  17. Some good company.
